As soon as we arrived we were welcomed as part of the family. The staff were amazing; very professional, friendly and helpful and they always had a smile on their face. The knowledge of the safari guides was amazing and they loved passing on their knowledge to the guests.
Being welcomed back from game drives with a hot/cold towel and welcome drinks was a great thought and enabled the staff to find out how we had enjoyed the drive and what animals we were able to see.
Food was amazing and the chef was more than willing to work around our specific food preferences.
Our chalet was large, clean and very peaceful with all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was huge!
The use of golf carts to get you too and from your chalet to the lodge was great - this was a must at night as animals roam the area.
There is nothing that we would change - except staying longer

Stunning lodge with awesome staff and very knowledgeable rangers !! Beautifully appointed rooms and a great common lounge area … and the food was perfect !! We had stunning game sightings and saw 83 different kinds of birds in the 4 days !!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern eingerichtet, mit sehr viel Stil. Die schönste auf unserer ganzen Rundreise. Auch die Game Drives waren perfekt. Wir haben uns mega wohl gefühlt.

Our stay at Sungulwane was unbelievable! Neil and Ryan took us on great game drives. 11 Lions on one drive is certainly one to remember. The ranger coffee, Mochachocarula, in the morning while watching the hippos, or where they watching us, and the afternoon gin and tonics at the viewpoint were a highlight. The staff, especially Kwanele and Sikho, with Simphiwe and Khanyi, made our stay memorable with beautiful lunch and dinner settings. The chefs created wonderful dishes with prawns, pork belly, rack of lamb and awesome vegetarian dishes. We had a great lunch at the hide while watching the Dagga Boys and Kingfishers. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and offered stunning views of the bush. The outside shower was a treat. Thank you Sungulwane!
