The host was great with communicating with me whenever I sent him questions. The house was an exact match to what you see in the pictures. The bed was so incredibly comfy and cozy and we slept so well! All of the bedding in linens smells amazingly fresh and clean! The location was perfect for us walking to all of our destinations. We walked to the Riverwalk and also saw a show at the Magic Saloon. The other reviews are a match to our experience regarding surrounding homelessness, but if you’re comfortable and familiar with any downtown setting or environment, this was no surprise and never really felt unsafe. This is only near the bridge, and not right outside of the house. There were plenty of options for breweries, food options, and bars, all within walking distance. Check in and check out were both easy peezy, and right in line with the instructions provided.

Good:
Clean
Comfy bed
Snacks
Not good:
Neighborhood still transitioning
Upstairs tenants loud with foot traffic until 4am
Pretty cold in apartment despite numerous space heaters
We went and got a hotel after one night of a two night stay
