Great place to stay for a week. It might not be the Ritz hotel but if you have a large group you won't find better value on lodging anywhere. The rooms are built fairly critter repelling, but the first night a little green frog got in. I don't mind frogs though, it's Costa Rica after all! Pura Vida!

Very unique location in the middle of the countryside. The house is quite beautiful and kept quite clean. Amazing bird watching opportunities early in the mornings and overall a very nice experience. Be prepared for a feather rustic experience.

This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. It's definitely a change of pace from the busier, tourist-packed area. As a small side note: be sure to stop by the nearby Árbol de la Paz. Its free and worth the stop!
