Nuovissimo (rinnovato a settembre 2019), arredato con gusto, appartamento di lusso davvero luminoso e molto spazioso, proprio nel cuore del centro città, che offre un facile accesso a tutti i luoghi di interesse e una vista sul mare. È idealmente situato su una strada pedonale, a 30 metri dal lungomare ea meno di 300 metri dalla piazza principale della città, rendendolo un'ottima scelta per coloro che desiderano godersi tutti gli aspetti di Heraklion (vita notturna, musei, luoghi di interesse sono tutti raggiungibili a piedi) mentre si torna a casa in un ambiente tranquillo e rilassante. Parte di un edificio privato e molto sicuro, l'appartamento è stato progettato per offrire una casa elegante lontano da casa. È una struttura per non fumatori (è consentito fumare solo negli spazi esterni) e rispettosa dell'ambiente (abbiamo investito in pannelli solari e invitiamo i nostri ospiti a utilizzare i cassonetti per il riciclaggio designati nella proprietà, per quanto possibile)

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Marina has been a fantastic host.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were so happy to also have use of a washing machine.
The apartment is a short walk to the very centre of the city which is full of wonderful restaurants, cafes and shopping, including markets.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Heraklion.

Our holiday didn’t start out so well, as we got lost coming from the parking garage, but Marina walked us through the route in real time. A big help.
The apartment was clean and cheery. There were enough things in the kitchen if one didn’t intend cooking lots of meals.
Unfortunately there were plumbing problems, which Marina moved quickly to rectify, but we eventually had to move to another apartment in the building, and were told we’d be refunded a night’s rent. So, although changing flats was a bit of a bother, at least action was taken.
Two days before the end of our stay, other guests moved into the building, and then we didn’t have hot water for showers the next 2 mornings. Marina has been told, so one can hope she moved with her usual efficiency to solve the problem.
The flat is very close to lots of restaurants and the sea, and not too far from a parking garage, if you have a car. It’s a short walk from the Historical Museum, and about a 10 minute or so stroll from the Archeological Museum, so is very convenient.

Too short! To do again, we will start our stay here and then drive further to ouest of Crete instead of the opposite. Thanks for the gyros, wine and most of all great discussion.

The apartment was great for 3 of us! It was just a short walk to the central square for shopping and restaurants. It was about 8 minutes to the taxi stand when we wanted to go to Knossos.
