This was our third year staying at ‘Beaver Lodge’. The house and full kitchen is great for our multi-family group. The beach and Leech Lake sunset are unbeatable. Sonja is alway very responsive and helpful.

Our family of five adults and two children, ages 2 and 7, had a great time at this property. The very large home is spacious and well thought out. The home is very well stocked and Sonja does a fantastic job at keeping her home very clean! Sonja is also a great communicator and responded quickly to any questions I had. We enjoyed the large, sandy, private beach. Leech Lake is very large so on windy days the little ones were a bit intimidated by the large waves but as an adult it was the most fun I've ever had swimming at a Minnesota lake. It was like swimming in a very large wave pool. Other highlights we loved: large three season porch, very nice deck, great downstairs family area, beautiful views, nice lawn kids can run barefoot on, fast wifi that was better than what we get in the city. The owners clearly made an effort to make our stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. We enjoyed the beach area.

This was our second time renting this lake home. Our family truly enjoyed our time plenty of room for everyone and well stocked with everything you would need. Thinking of rebooking for next year

We had such a great time at this property! Perfect for families - loved the beach and backyard area, lots of rooms for spreading out, owner was very responsive and helpful, clean and well-stocked with all the essentials. Would highly recommend, and we hope to return for another stay next year!

We were a group of 11; grandparents, four adult children/spouses, and five grandkids ages 6-14. The house was a great size for all of us to have enough bedrooms, lounging space, and make/eat all our meals together. We loved the big sandy beach and the sand toys for the kids. The canoe and kayaks were used every day! A few kid-sized life jackets would be a great addition to the adult ones that are provided. The kids caught tons of tiny fish off the dock, but fishing out in the lake was not as successful for us--one giant muskie, one walleye, and a couple of rock bass. Guess it wasn't our week for fish! We had some issues with the kitchen appliances, and Sonja was responsive to our texts and provided an appropriate refund for the inconveniences. This is a great house for a large group with excellent indoor and outdoor spaces and amenities to make lots of memories!

Very spacious and LOTS of dishes, pots and pans. 3 bathrooms was great for our 3 couples. Comunication was instantly. Nice protected channel to dock up to 3 boats and we caught 7 Walleyes over 24" (all caught over 20" we're released😁) Great hosts, highly recommend.

Nice weekend getaway

We spent 3 nights for an ice fishing getaway with 9 guys. Property was more than spacious enough, private, comfortable, and communication with the owner was fantastic. Beautiful view of the lake, and the best part was we were able to access great ice fishing spots by foot. Would definitely recommend!

Overall an ok place to stay. Complaints would be the driveway was not plowed when we arrived! Host lied and said she was there earlier that day and it was clear. She sent a picture from the property cam and it only showed the sidewalk that appeared to be clear from snow. That was not the case, one of our vehicles got stuck. Waited half hour for a plow to come. Water stinks, mice droppings in the home, Lipton and nestle cocoa canisters had mice bites on the covers. Mice poop on counters. Was told to use the key provided in drawer to put trash in shed. The key didn’t fit so we were told to put trash on the deck. Eerie sounds from the basement.

Docking the boat was very convenient, and the beach was absolutley wonderful!

We just had the most wonderful stay at this cabin. Communication from Sonja occurred quickly and she is very helpful. The cabin is one of the best stocked Vbro’s we have stayed in. There was plenty of bedroom space and the beech is great. Best sunsets ever!

The property is perfect for family vacations with a large flat yard for games; fIre pit, beautiful beach and stunning sunsets. The home easily slept our family of 13 adults and was very comfortable. The kitchen had a great serving island and great appliances. The owner is very cordial and accommodating and provided good information about the area and some interesting antidotes. One more thing - fishing was excellent so we had a great fish fry and all three families had limits to take home. A great time was had by all!

Very helpful, responsive and available for questions. Sonja gave us local recommendations and was very accommodating. House was very spacious, well stocked, and warm during the negative 20s weather. Wish we were able to get out on the ice more! Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend!

It was beautiful home and we very much enjoyed our stay there. The owners were great at communicating with us beginning to the minute we left. We definitely would book it again.

We stayed at this property for almost a week while attending our annual family ice fishing trip. I was surprised when the owners told us that no one had stayed there in the past to ice fish. They did state that other renters fished there in the Spring, Summer and Fall and caught fish so I knew that we too would catch fish. Yes- we did catch fish!!! The home was furnished above and beyond with supplies, paper towels, toliet paper and spices. It has a great layout where you can spread out and enjoy the views of the beautiful lake. The owners were more than accommodating and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this property!!! I give it a 5 stars on everything!!!!
