Unique Stay in a 1907 Log Cabin on The Kentucky River
Cabina di Kirkland - Soggiorna in una capanna del 1907 arroccata sulle palizzate del fiume Kentucky a Lexington. Scollegalo con i giochi da tavolo o utilizza il WiFi ad alta velocità. Questa cabina si trova a 2 miglia dalla I-75 e 15 minuti dal centro di Lexington. Quaint property tucked away by the river. Close to an amazing BBQ place just down the road. The host was very responsive and so welcoming and I’m so grateful she allows pets.

The property welcomed pets. The only issues i had were they was an infestation of bugs. There were at least 10 lady bugs in the downstairs area, kitchen, bathroom and when you walk in the cabin. There were also lady bugs in the master bedroom. There was also 2 stink bugs that i saw in the master bedroom. I hate bugs. The steps, if that's what you want to call them, leading to the property we're in severe disrepair. I didn't like that the bathroom was not in the same floor as the bedrooms. The bathroom shower stall had visible dirt around the outside. This location is not close by any activities and you can't even have food delivered. If you like to live in a place reminiscent of the 1800s you would appreciate it more then i did.

Cabin was very unique, and charming. Had everything we needed. Steps a little wonky but easy to get through. Would definitely stay again.

Nice clean, quiet, quaint cabin in rustic setting. We enjoyed our trip, and are glad we stayed there, but would probably not return. We expected to have a river view and access to it based on ad saying it was a cabin on a river. Yet we could not even see river either from property or Beach Street (that may be different in the winter), and there is no walking access to it. That was disappointing as we expected enjoy a cabin "on the river." While technically correct, it's not what most envision from that phrase.
