This is a great rental for a couple - king-sized bed was very comfortable! But, my adult son said that the sofa bed was uncomfortable; that's my only issue. Otherwise, the hosts were super, and the rental was awesome.

We weren’t at the property much during the days. But it was enjoyable to have morning coffee out on the lawn, very quiet place. All rooms were very well equipped. Great stay!

This is a lovely suite, with every amenity you could want, in a great location. It was hot in Lk Cowichan during our stay, but this suite was fresh and cool. The new king-sized mattress that the owners recently added has spoiled us - we may need one of those now in our own place!! Five stars all around. We’ll be back.

Anniversary weekend away and it was great. Did some kayaking/SUP. Went for a swim and had some yummy lunches at Jakes watching all the tubers from the patio. Will come back for tubing soon. Beautiful house with a very comfortable mattress. And a wonderful coffee spot. Will come again and recommend!!!

Well equipped suite, friendly hosts. Has a lovely patio and garden area. Within walking distance of a nice beach, the lake and the town. Good facilities. Had all we wanted

Enjoyed our stay at this property. Exactly as shown in photos. Very well laid out and modern. Well stocked kitchen which is a rarity these days! Had more than enough of everything you’d could possibly need. Weather was very hot during our visit but the suite stayed nice and cool. Bed was very comfortable and the area was extremely quiet. Highly recommend!

When we arrived Barbara greeted us and we had a nice chat, she gave us some recommendations. The place was beautiful, very clean and very quiet. It’s in a nice neighbourhood and we enjoyed walking around. There are many trails to hike.

We had a lovely two night stay at Rob and Barbara's. It's very clean, modern and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. We'd definitely return!

This is a beautiful one-bedroom suite with everything one needs to feel at home: comfortable king size bad with new mattress (that was big enough for family with one small child), spacious bathroom, laundry room, kitchen with all appliances and dishes, and living room with TV for evening gatherings. We haven't used patio and BBQ, as we stayed while it was snowing, but I did check the backyard and have been entranced by the view. It reminded me of European, particularly Austrian landscape with a quiet town by the lake, surrounded with evergreen mountains. Barbara and Ron are great hosts. They helped us with the luggage as we had to leave our car down the hill (snow was too high for our SUV), and directed us to close hike trails. Beautiful camp site and summer beach is less than 10 minutes away from the suite so I guess staying here during summer would be even more rewarding. We plan to go back this summer and check it ourselves.

This quiet, clean and fully renovated suite was perfect for our getaway from the city. Both Barbara and her husband were readily available to answer any questions and were very respectful of our privacy. Upon opening the drapes one morning, we were pleasantly surprised to see the resident elk relaxing on the grass and grazing in front of our patio door!!

Great location to explore the area. The suite was great, we loved the outdoor play area. Suite was lovely and a perfect size for a small family.

This was the perfect place to stay for us. Close to home but far enough away to get have a short vacation and relaxing time. Wasn't as close to lake as we thought it might be but was only a 5 minute walk to the marina. Bright, clean, and cozy space in spectacular location. Highly recommend and will be going back.

The unit is *gorgeous* and well provisioned. Barbara couldn’t have been more friendly and the patio setup is incredible. We’ll definitely be back.

A friend and I came for a quick weekend break. The place was lovely and well appointed. As others have commented, it really has everything you need! I did sleep on the sofa bed and can say that (like a lot of sofa beds), it's a bit uncomfortable. The mattress is thin...the host might want to invest in a new mattress or a topper (just to increase the comfort level). The view from the property is great (it is a short walk up a steep hill from the town centre). :-) We had a wonderful and comfortable stay...and would readily come back again!

The suite and property are beautiful and immaculate. We were very comfortable and loved the location. My husband and I and our mini dachshund really enjoyed our stay and we will come again. Our hosts Barb and Ron were wonderful. Highly recommend for a lovely lake getaway in Lake Cowichan!

We had a wonderful stay here. Amazing views of the lake, very clean & comfortable suite with all the amenities and some more! Excellent hosts. We would definitely want come back. The outdoor fire pit made it extra special.

My friends and I were absolutely thrilled with the stay here! Barbara and her husband were excellent hosts: welcoming, hospitable, and respectful. The suite itself is clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and charming, and the location is excellent. We hope we'll be able to return!

Great spot in the heart of Lake Cowichan. New sub-division with lake views, nice outdoor deck. I would definitely stay again.
