Lovely property, in a great location. 5 mins from town, 10 mins from wineries. Enjoyed the pool and the outside bath. Everything was perfect. We're looking forward to another trip already

Beautifully decorated, comfortable and spacious for a couple. Great facilities and quality inclusions.
If planning to cook, be aware there is no oven. However there is a microwave and a weber BBQ outside for roasting and grilling.

The whole accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable.
The bathroom was clean and tidy - plenty of bathroom linen available.

We did not need it but one thing that if there was anything to add to this would be a washing machine/dryer as if staying for a longer period of time you may want to do your washing - but we did not need this service and Mudgee would have a laundry mat im sure.

From the inital message and pictures about how to access the property from the hosts to meeting the family dog and chiiliing in the swimming pool. it was a delightful 4 days in Mudgee and a joy to come back to the Red Lotus Retreat after a hard day of restaurants and wine tastings (LOL). Great location and a beautiful retreat. Lovely, clean, spacious environment with a great kitchen that you can actually cook in. Great aircon and comfortable retreat and even some kangaroos hopping around. Great fun stay, thanks again.

The place is just amazing. The hosts are fantastic. Super clear communication. The fire place in the garden and swimming pool are an incredible bonus. Incredible place to explore and discover the Mudgee region.

The location, whilst a little out of town, is great. Quiet, green and a nice part of town. Kangaroos on the lawn each day we were there. We were also very impressed with both the thoughtfulness of the host (small treats everywhere) as well as the attention to detail. Everything was well done.
Finding the place was a little tricky but no big deal. Other than that nothing really ....

A beautiful home away from home. One of the best places we've stayed. Sharon and Peter are so welcoming and have created a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere on their property. If you want to stay amongst all the action - this isn't the place for you. It's on the edge of town, but just a short drive from the main hub. Stay to unwind, relax, soak in the tub, enjoy a local wine and a cheese platter by the fire pit, watch the kangaroos or go for a walk. The countryside is lovely.

The property was very comfortable to stay at and very conveniently located. It was very quiet and private and was wonderful to be able to use the fire pit outside while relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. This was one of the few places where I didn’t feel the need to clean everything when I got there, everything was immaculate!
Would highly recommend to stay here for an enjoyable visit to Mudgee.

The attention to detail was amazing. So many small hidden touches. The more time we spent, the more relaxing the experience was. I can't thank the hosts enough for providing a great experience for us and look forward to visiting again in the future. Highly recommended for newlyweds!!

We brought our own food but supplies left were good.
We didn't have the correct code for the lock box for the keys, luckily the owners were around and sorted it for us.

A quiet self-contained and private retreat - perfect size for a couple. Highly recommended location.
About the only thing that could be improved on would be some signage on the entrance to make it a little easier to find on arrival. Other than that, all good.

Exceeded our expectations. Hosts were lovely. Air-con was on when we arrived on a hot day. Beautifully clean. Everything was spotless. Just gorgeous comfortable cocoon in beautiful Mudgee. Bonus tribe of kangaroos in the front yard to welcome us! We were even welcome to use the pool. Towels and sunscreen supplied. So thoughtful x

Hard to enjoy outside because of loud music. Hard to find.
