La familia fue muy amable con nosotros. El desayuno estaba muy bueno y llenaba. Se ajustan a los horarios.

A kind and hospitable family. Open rooftop terrace which is a nice place to spend time for breakfast or dinner. There is a parking space for your car. 10 minutes to the botanical garden or city center by car.
The internet was not working well, if this is important to you, pay attention to it.

Sura and his family are really warm and friendly people. Sura helped us with organizing the trip and recommended a restaurant with the best kottu and his wife made amazing breakfasts! We felt like with family! The rooms were clean and we had all that we needed. Strongly recommend!

Beautiful home. They greeted us with delicious coconut pancakes and tea! They even let me borrow their shoes because I lost mine the day before <3 amazing family, would stay again

Es un Homestay, lo que pagas es lo que tienes. La familia es encantadora y siempre pendiente de agradar tu estancia.
La terraza de arriba es muy de uso personal, pero es normal porque es su casa. Eso quizá por poner un pero, literalmente lo que pagas es lo que tienes.

Sura and his wife were very friendly. we got a free pick up from the bus station and when we arrived his wife already cooked a lovely lunch for us. He brought us to a nice diner place that evening and even picked us up. We got good tips to get around in the neighborhood and it the bed was very comfortable and the room clean.

Bathroom was not cleaned, There were no soap and no bottled water provided. also there was no dust bin

Had a nice stay. Very nice family willing to help. Are very glad you are here. Stay at least 2 days there is plenty to do and see. The owner can drive you around. Really perfect!!

Amazing stay, Sura and his family are extremely hospitable and helpful. The room is also cozy and clean. Definitely recommended.
As a tea addict, I would appreciate to have a kettle in the room not to disturb hosts all the time.

The host! What a great and lovable family to stay with!
Sura recommended us some good restaurants, he even brought us personally to the location. We also had a great chat about the life in Sri Lanka. Our 3year old son was a big fan of Sura, het actually got to steer the tuktuk :D
The house is located in a neighbourhood a bit out of the city center, so you feel a bit local.

A very nice and friendly family. The room is very modern and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the host drove us around Kandy for free and to a tea factory. We enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone!

location near the city center , friendly stuff , and available transportations
was not that good cleaning , too much ants in the room and bathroom , bathroom lock was broken .

Room and bathroom were clean. Sura is freindly and runs there with help of his family. The parking is a street parking. Sura said it's safe and yes, I hadn't any problem.
There are some insects in the room. I think it's normal in tropical island of Sri Lanka. there was no problem with them but I think a mosquito net makes it better.

The accommodation is very good. The family is very friendly. They helped us in everything we asked, even Sura escorted us in her tuk tuk to the spice garden so we wouldn't get lost.
The breakfast is very good.
We recommend this accommodation.

Sura is the best host ever! He picked me up at the station, helped me around the city and just about everything! His family is super nice and the room was clean and comfortable! Highly recommended!!!

The bed was very big and comfortable.
Bed sheets were clean and so was the room and bathroom , except for few spider webs on the sealing.
The AC and internet were great.
The wife and kids of the owner were nice.
The owner wasn't friendly or welcoming.
The breakfast was okay compared to other ones I had in other guest houses.
The glass of the bathroom window is broken and replaced by a glittery fabric ( hopefully as a temporary solution.

We can highly recommend staying at Sura Homestay. you will stay with a super nice family and Sura drives a Tuk Tuk and can show you the best places around Kandy. We even extended our stay because we felt so welcome, enjoyed the accommodation and the authentic lifestyle. Sura is a Great Host, very honest and reliable.

We stayed only one day in Sura Homestay but if we would have stayed more days because it was a great place, very near to Kandy. The room was big and clean. And Sura's family was very nice. They also prepared us a tasty continental breakfast.
However, it was in a quiet neighborhood, but there was a bit of noise, dogs, buildings in construction...

No blankets. If you want silence, places more out of the city might be more suitable.

We booked the room late at night, but the people were very kind and made the room ready in just a few minutes. Very good matras too!
