Clean easy to use good location. I loved walking to the station along the path, it’s fairly easy to get to attractions.
Find Hyde and Away up the road for delicious cakes!

Fairly good location, everything in Kyoto felt like it was a 30-40 min walk away. The self check in procedure was straight forward, we didn't see a single member of staff during our 5 day stay which was unusual. We sent our bags from previous city and they were in our room waiting or us when we arrived which was very convenient. The room itself was spacious and comfortable and clean.
The communal area wasn't so clean, lots of dust and looked like the floors hadn't had a good clean in a long time. I wasn't a fan of staff entering our room while we weren't there to collect tourist tax, maybe you could find another way of doing this. Only 1 pillow per person and no option to ask for another as no staff on site.

"Location was great! A short walk to the Kyoto station and any subway stations. About a 40 min walk from Gion!"
