Holiday Inn Express & Suites Brunswick-Harpers Ferry Area by IHG

Great location with excellent highway access. Just above average for the expected breakfast from a chain restaurant. Bed was comfortable but wished there would have been an extra blanket.

I was visiting Harper‘s Ferry for a few days, and your property was within a good traveling distance. I liked that there was coffee available at any time of the day. The fitness center had machines that were the same as my local fitness club. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and spacious. I was also able to park right outside of my window as I was given a first floor room upon my request.

I was disturbed by the exit door right outside of my room door. Each night that I was there, someone was going in and out of it at 4:30 AM and another time a little bit after 3 AM. The door slammed and woke me up.

I really enjoyed everything from the staff who greeted us to the spacious room and the amenities we used, breakfast and pool. I was blown away by my stay.

There was a bit of a smell in our room when we initially checked in, as if it had been closed up a little while. Very mild, temporary nuisance.

It’s easy to get to from the highway and is still fairly new so clean and well maintained. We didn’t use it but it does have a small indoor pool and a gym.

While there is a small market in the lobby, items are ridiculously priced and aren’t labeled with prices. Like $4 for a small drink. You are better off walking next door to Sheetz. I expect some mark up but that’s more than I paid at a high end hotel in NYC. Staff was nice enough but when we checked in the clerk was very flustered and it took much longer than it should have. We were the only ones checking in and everything was prepaid. Perhaps the staff could use additional training. Rooms are basic but decent. Towels are super small and not soft.
