We really enjoyed our stay at Maha Lokha Balangan. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we were lucky enough to get a room with pool access, which was absolutely beautiful. Having direct access to the pool made the stay feel extra special, and the pool itself was warm and lovely to enjoy although there were a few bugs floating in it.
There were just a few little things that could make the experience even better. There was no remote control for the TV in our room, and we noticed quite a few mosquitoes inside, so having better mosquito prevention would definitely help. We also wished there were in-room slippers, as the tiled floor can feel quite cold, especially with the room temperature being quite cool. The blankets were also quite thin, and having proper doonas would make the room much cosier.

Nice decoration and breakfast. Nice idea with the pool having a little spot more reserved for the room.
Pool was not superrr clean, but it was also not super dirty, so don’t worry.. just could be cleaner.
TV was not working at all.
Shower head could get an upgrade, water flow is not super nice.
All the rest was nice :)

The staff were very friendly. Breakfast banana pancakes delicious.
Driver who drove us to our next stay was very pushy about stopping at places on the way. We were not interested by driver did not let up. It made our car trip very stressful and uncomfortable for over 2 hours.
Mould in shower alcove. Especially on ceiling.

"The best part of our stay was the room with direct pool access—I highly recommend it! Even though the pool is shared with other guests, the lush greenery around it gives these rooms a wonderful sense ..."
