Meals were excellent

First 2 game drives 10 people packed into one Vehicle, which was extremely uncomfortable, and therefore some people could not see what was on the other side of the vehicle and everyone in the vehicle was very disappointed with this.

We had an amazing stay at the Sheperds tree game ! Everything was great The rooms were very confortable, the staff discreet, efficient and very kind, the meals delicious, and the game drives extraordinary ! Special thanks to Nicky who made every game drive fantastic

The staff were very kind. The facilities were beautiful and everything from cigars to extra coffee was always there. The food was unique and delicious and felt really carefully done.

My brother and I are vegan, and sometimes, it seemed the staff did not know what a vegan was. There should be no animal products in vegan items and some people are very allergic to dairy, so it seems important that people know if there is dairy, eggs or any other animal products in the dishes (vegans do not eat any animal products).

Outstanding lodge. Great staff. We were treated like kings. I would like to thank everybody, from Rangers to chefs, waiters, gardeners, and Spa staff! You will see us again!

Everything! The staff were brilliant, the food was incredible, the location is superb and the room was breathtaking!

Not a big deal but the long distance from the room to the main areas meant needing to be taxied to & fro

A little beat up, not really bad but not perfect

We truly enjoyed being immersed in the nature and at the same time being looked after by Sheperd's Tree staff. We chose this place for being children friendly, including the possibility of doing game drives for little ones, and they did not disappoint: my little 2yo marveled at elephants, giraffes, kudus and many others. Both me and my wife saw the big 5, thanks to the experienced eyes of our guide. We really enjoyed staying at this place. The exceptionally friendly staff, our room, the quality and choice of food made our experience a superb one.

Both our private pool and the resort pool were not heated hence we could not enjoy swimming.

Honestly Shepherds Tree Lodge exceeded all expectations. We arrived to a warm welcome, drink on arrival, car parked for us and bags taken to our room. We were celebrating our anniversary and as a gesture of goodwill the team went out of their way to decorate our bathroom with rose petals, candles, run a bubble bath and have champagne on ice ready for our return from dinner. It was just incredible!

Nothing - as I say it exceeded all expectations and we got the full 5-star treatment! I would highly recommend to all.
