Perfect place for the whole family.

Great location..... close to the lake, conveniently located near restaurants and activities, yet quiet and relaxing as it was out of the hustle and bustle. Loved sitting on the front porch with family, catching up and playing games. Owners were very responsive and easy to contact with questions. We plan to be back!!!

This home has been beautifully updated. I was a little nervous about the porch and 2nd floor bedrooms having individual split AC systems. I wasn’t sure the whole house would feel air conditioned. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the home felt as if it had central air.
Our multigenerational family of 11 shared this home & we all loved it and hope to rent it again next year! The extra half bath off the living/dining area was key. All 3 bathrooms are very new, the open kitchen is ideal, and the first floor master with en-suite puts this rental home above so many others in the Lakeside community. The washer, dryer, outdoor side patio with tables & grill, plus the 3 bikes are all huge bonuses. It’s really neat to stay in a house that dates back to 1878, but wonderfully, the interior finishes make it hard to believe that the home is almost 150 years old!

This place was so perfect for our family during our stay at Lakeside! It is an amazing location, very clean, great amenities, and overall a 5 star rating. Communication with the owners was easy. We had no issues during our stay. We will definitely be back and would love to rent this wonderful house again. Thank you to the Stahl’s for such a great place!

This home is exactly as described and was perfect for two families (4 adults and 4 children) over Memorial Day Weekend. The location was amazing, and the owner is very helpful and communicative! We loved our time there!

We loved our stay at this lovely house and were so grateful for all of the extras that the owners provided for us! From a fully stocked kitchen to including hand soaps in the bathrooms this one was definitely THE best rental we have had in Lakeside. It was nice to have dishes that all matched and that were in great shape.
The location was also perfect for us --close to the lake and dock, close to downtown area and quiet while we were there. The furniture and beds were comfy and the addition of the gas grill was a bonus for meal time.
The addition of a couple of mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms would have helped keep the bathroom freed up a little more more but that was really the only suggestion that we had for the owners and that was a minor thing.
Loved our time here and spent a great deal of time on the lovely porch -- A+ rental!

Perfect house and location
We loved this cottage. The beds were comfortable, the porch was our favorite spot (especially on really hot days we could turn on AC on porch!). We would return for sure. Good wifi too! I worked remotely all week and never had a problem.

We loved our stay!
This is such a cute house and it’s very close to the lake. It was nicely updated and very clean. It’s in a great location: we were able to walk to all the restaurants, shops, and parks. The owners were very friendly and got back to us right away with any questions we had. We especially loved the front porch/sunroom. We had our 6 and 3 yr old with us and they really enjoyed it as well. It was a little extra work in packing our own sheets and towels, but with COVID and everything I really didn’t mind. We will definitely be back!

We took long walks on the path along the lake (just at the end of the street), spent our days playing shuffleboard and mini golf as well as renting kayaks, sailboats and paddle boards. The house is quaint but updated and had plenty of room for our family. I would definitely recommend this property for any group looking to enjoy Lakeside. We stayed 4 days at this great cottage in Lakeside . Owner was very responsive . The location was fantastic- less than a block off of the lake . Even took a day trip by way of the the Marblehead ferry to bike around Kelly’s island Only downside ( and not a critique of the cottage ) is that we went soon after Labor Day during weekdays and almost everything in Lakeside was closed for the season including restaurants - so we appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment !

Cute cottage! Location is near the water, and just far enough from the central activities if you want to quietly getaway. And a very short walk to the park and shops if you want to participate!

Lakeside Gem
This property is without a doubt one of the best I have ever stayed at. The owners did a great job of giving all needed information well in advance of our stay. The home is beautiful! We ate breakfast every morning on the screened porch, and napped on the porch swing in the afternoons! The kitchen was as well equipped as my own, and having a gas grill to use was a wonderful bonus. I really appreciated the attention to detail regarding COVID safety. The cottage had clearly been disinfected before our arrival, and the owners provided fresh mattress pads, blankets, and pillow covers for every bed. Our stay was wonderful, and we hope to return again!

Perfect Location. Perfect Cottage
Our family had a wonderful week at Lakeside. The cottage is located close to the downtown area, pier, and steps away from Ohio's Most Beautiful Mile (along Lake Erie). The cottage was well appointed with all of the amenities needed for a getaway. We will definitely be returning. Our favorite feature of the cottage was the porch swing. If you decide to go to Lakeside, do not miss the nightly sunsets - amazing!

We truly enjoyed this charming cottage located in the most perfect spot. In walking distance to lake walking path and downtown lakeside. Property owners were extremely helpful with any questions we had. We plan to stay here again next year.
