The house is located in a nice quiet area not far from the beach ramp. My daughter loved the pool she was in it all week. Petfect for her height the deep end is about 5'. At the end of your stay you are to run the dish washer. Only 1 tablet is given so if you plan to do more washing bring some from home. Great views and would definetly book again.

We had a great week in obx! This house was very comfortable with everything we needed! Pool, Hot tub and outdoor shower were awesome to have and used often . Porches were great with lots of comfy seating. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was equipt with everything we needed. This house was great, and I would highly recommend!

Beautiful home— we spent so much time on the wrap-around deck looking at the ocean. We saw horses everyday, even one in the backyard!

First time to Carova, but won’t be the last time. We loved it and the house was perfect location. Short walk to beach and very well equipped

The stay was awesome, enjoyed the quiet nights listening to the ocean in the screened in porch, close to beach , everything in house was as described in description and owner was easy to get ahold of if needed.

We stayed at Atlantic Alley the week of July 24th-31st. We loved our stay there. It was clean, well stocked, and exceeded our expectations. You have to be prepared for the drive out as it is about 45 minutes from grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. We go to Carova to get away from it all and this house had everything we needed. We went to the beach, cooked at home,, and even saw wild horses in the yard. The hosts were super responsive and very nice. I would recommend this stay! Thanks!

Excellent house in quiet and remote location! The house was perfect for what we were looking for and was even nicer than the pictures portrayed. The beach is a short walk away, which made early morning walks easy and practically exclusive. We even had wild horses in the front yard on the last day!

Great house with 4 nice bedrooms. Hot tub was wonderful. Nice ocean views. Easy drive to beach. Can walk if used to a little exertion. Beach is beautiful and of course seeing the wild horses is an nice experience. Kitchen well equipped!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The views of Carova, including the ocean, are beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning and saw horses on the dunes from the porch multiple times. Beds and sofa were very comfortable. House could use a little TLC, but overall we were very happy with our stay.

House was beautiful with everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. House was clean! Hot tub was hit and ready. Very spacious and we all had our own privacy .the batteries were dead in the smoke detector and it was beeping . I messaged Pete and he responded within 10 minutes and had someone out to fix it within the hour! I will be staying here again for sure!!! Highly recommend this place! We had horses in our yard several nights!

House was beautiful with everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. House was clean! Hot tub was hit and ready. We have visited this area of the OBX before and even stayed in this same house last in 2018. We thought it would be a good first major vacation since Covid since we were familiar with the area. The beach did not disappoint. I like this area for kids as there is a shallow slope to the beach and in the summer the waves are generally fairly tame. The only issue we had was with the beach parking permits. We forgot to take them out of our cars when we left and didn't realize until later in our drive out. Fortunately the host made arrangements for us to mail them back. This was definitely different from our previous visit as our parking permits then didn't need returned, but it seems the beach parking permit system has changed. Overall good trip.

Relaxing and fun experience
Home was clean, had all the little things that makes a vacation rental a place to go back again, updated interior, good spaces for indoor activity at night away from bugs or rainy days, close enough to walk to the beach if you don't want to drive, we drove due to chairs, coolers etc. kids loved driving on the sandy bumpy roads, fishing was great, beds and pillows at home were great, owners were responsive to questions, charcoal grill available and big enough for a big group. great for a family get away.

This house was great and met all of our needs. We will definitely keep it in mind for another trip to the Carova Beach area. This was our first time staying in the Carova area and the house was very accommodating. The owner is also very responsive to any needs.

Peaceful beach vacation
Obviously off season in January, but clean, peaceful, and refreshing. Excellent communication from the owners, hot tub well-maintained, and kitchen was well equipped for cooking exclusively on site. Rooms were large, beds were comfortable. Highly recommend. Would be cautious about using Apple Maps - it knew where the house was but kept trying to route us off the beach. Would recommend driving the nine miles on the beach and then turning at the last minute.

Secluded and Serene
We absolutely adored the property! The ocean views from the front porch were breathtaking. On any given day, you might find a herd of horses meandering through the yard peacefully grazing. It was exactly the break my wife and I needed.
The house was well maintained and the owner Peter was very responsive to all of my questions. We would definitely stay there again!
