Location was amazing! Easy walk or drive into Leavenworth, gorgeous view of the mountains from most windows, hot tub nestled in the trees, meals on the lovely porch with the mountains on full display, especially at sunset. Loved everything about this house! So thoughtfully stocked and decorated. Hand-painted cupboards and furniture, bright and cheerful decorations, including hand-painted quotes inside the cabinets. A hand-made game room downstairs, it was so much fun--we enjoyed it multiple times. This is hands down the best rental we've ever stayed in. Hosts were super responsive and very friendly. We could tell they take a lot of pride and pleasure in hosting! Also easy drives to wonderful hikes in the Cascades, we enjoyed one every day. Even zipped into Wenatchee for a movie one night--so everything is right here. Leavenworth is a darling little town, perfect summer getaway for great food, fun little shops, nightly oompa band in the town square, and a lovely Bavarian feel.

It's on a slight hill. The property is not recommended for people with mobility issues. It was hard to get the host to respond to my email questions.

Set in a tranquil spot on the edge of the forest; over the river from the main part of town which meant it was secluded and peaceful, even when there were thousands of visitors. The house is quirky, cosy, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

The location was good in terms of the setting against the forest and so much was provided in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as on the wonderful decks. The amazing and quirky decorations were a joy and we loved the jacuzzi's setting which we enjoyed in the company of the deer, squirrels and tiny tree frog 'Freddie'.

My severely disabled son, who is registered blind, needed a lot of assistance negotiating the stairs and steps but it was well worth the effort to enjoy the decks with their lovely mountain views.

Beautiful home very clean and cozy. Excellent location

The location was fabulous. Tucked onto a steep slope with trees all around the back of the house and the hot tub, and a gorgeous view of the valley out the large North-facing windows. Close enough to town for a nice walk, but not so close as to feel crowded in. The heated walk up to the front door, and out to the hot-tub, are superb luxuries. Note to future renters: Don't let the warnings about close neighbors, or others parking in the space out front, scare you. The livingroom/bedrooms are nice and private, and elevated such that you don't even notice others using the parking area below. And the hot-tub is quite secluded, especially at night (though, bring some small lights for the path if you want to enjoy it in complete darkness).

We could have used a second set of towels (there weren't enough for separate hot-tub and shower use), and a second set of dishtowels (there were only 2). Additional options in bedding/pillows would also have been nice. Finally, the hot water pressure in the top-most bathroom ran out after ~3 minutes, which was frustrating since that is the nicest shower/bathroom in the rental.

Charming and cozy cabin, very comfortable, private hot tub, the holiday decorations made us feel at home. Great game room! Very handy and helpful instructions for operating everything in the home, and lots of information for enjoying the area's activities.
