Overall the house and yard exceeded our expectations.
The property was very close to Lake Michigan, downtown Two Rivers and Manitowoc. Also, for our family it presented a good midway point for meeting.

The peacefulness in the location and scenery is a little bit of Wisconsin heaven. Plus a clean Lake Michigan beach only a short drive away. The house itself is beautiful, clean and supplied with all you will need. Erica is so kind and responsive. We will definitely be back.

We loved this place! The pictures don’t really do the place justice! It was clean, comfortable in every way, and had everything we could have needed in the kitchen and baths. The beds are very comfortable and more than enough for our party. The communication with the owner was TOP NOTCH- there is not one thing they missed! The neighbors next door (especially their dog, Radio) are even fantastic! The only negative was that the stay wasn't long enough!

We loved this home on the river. It is attractive, clean and comfortable. The view and access to the river is perfect. We made a fire in the fire pit each night and had s'mores with the grandchildren. We would definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay at the cottage. Everything was lovely. The beds are really comfy, the kitchen was well supplied with anything we needed & it was really nice to use the water toys available on-site. Our stay was fun & peaceful. Mark & Julie were wonderful hosts.

Very relaxing and peaceful trip!!
This home is absolutely beautiful! We very much enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets and the wildlife. The river views are amazing, and everything we could've thought of was provided! Mark and Julie are very gracious hosts, we were welcomed with cold bottled water, all the snacks you could want, s'mores fixings, and a bottle of wine! The beds are very comfortable and the cabin is very well taken care of, we truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you Mark and Julie!

This is an excellent property. Highly recommend this top quality house. The owners are friendly and responsive. The area has plenty for nature lovers, including this property. If we make it back to this area, we will definately try to get this house again!

The property owner was very nice and accommodating. The place was beautiful and had amazing wildlife views. We all loved the 3 season room with incredible views of the river and the wildlife. I know we saw geese, ducks, egrets, blue herons and eagles. It's definitely the best place we have stayed in and hopefully we will get to visit again next year.

Birthday getaway!
I wasn’t planning on going anywhere for my birthday but my friends talked me into it. There is lots of great places to look at on this site but Julie and her home are above the rest! She provided so many amenities where we literally only needed our cloths and beverages! The home is cozy and the view of the backyard is second to none! It rained most of the nights but that didn’t matter, the home had games to play and a 4 seasons room in the backyard to relax and hang out in! What an incredible time and we are definitely going to be back! Thank you so much Julie and Mark!

The only reason I didn’t rate this a 5 star was the lack of a dishwasher coupled with a limited supply of dishes. Also the water pressure at the sink and long time frame to get hot water at the kitchen sink added to the inconvenience. I would stay here again but I would bring stuff to negate the inconvenience. We did end up doing that after the first couple of days.

We had absolutely everything we needed from the time we arrived until the morning we left. Julie and Mark have a very special place on the West Twin river. The communication prior to our arrival was exceptional and the snacks and wine that were there to greet us was a wonderful welcome. The house was very comfortable, cozy, and immaculate. We used the kayaks, had fires, rode our bikes to the awesome lakefront trails, and visited both Manitowoc and Two Rivers. We will definitely book Waterfront Haven again!

Great getaway to relax with your family and have fun on the water!
It had absolutely everything that we needed and our family had a great vacation . The hosts will absolutely been over backwards to make sure you’re having a good time. We went canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was my daughter‘s first experience paddle boarding and she did pretty good! Enjoyed a nice fire and when it rained we simply relaxed in the cottage. This was our first experience with a VBRO and I do believe it was a trip we will never forget!

Restful, peaceful stay.
Located on the river down a quiet road, the property has many amenities that are not listed. The check in process was easy, the hosts very attentive, and the property provides easy access to many of the areas activities. There are kayaks, a canoe and more for exploring the river. The three season room is an added bonus that provides a relaxing outdoor area.

Cozy River Home
This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. We were greeted by Mark and Julie, who are some of the nicest people on this planet. Courteous, attentive and catered to all our needs. The home is incredibly cozy, with an incredible view in the back. We would come back here again anytime!

Honeymoon in Haven!
Julie is the epitome of an attentive host. She specialized our honeymoon experience for us. The saying hostess with the mostest defines her. The actual property makes you feel at home on the river immediately! We wished we had another week to enjoy this oasis on the river. Thank you Julie for going above and beyond to make our honeymoon special!

Absolutely perfect
Julie and Mark have built the most amazing retreat home for families to enjoy. We wanted a get away from all the craziness back home and that is exactly what we found. Every little thing was taken care of and anticipated. We loved the breathtaking sunsets at night, the beautiful beach at Lake Michigan and just recharging our batteries. Thank you both for a fantastic getaway. It was the best sleep I’ve had in a decade and everything was so incredibly decorated I didn’t want to leave. My biggest complaint is I liked it so much now I want to redo my whole house. That’s a lot of work and then I’ll need another vacation lol. But really, the nicest accommodations we have ever stayed at and we have stayed across the world in some beautiful places. Thank you again for allowing us to enjoy your little slice of heaven. Highly recommend!

Thanks for everything! The house was immaculate and really comfortable. You obviously put a lot of thought into every detail and it really makes the difference! Definitely a plus that it was on the river and we were able to dock our boat during our stay. We even ended up catching a few nice fish right down the river! We would highly recommend to any of our friend and family!

A beautiful, peaceful place to get away!
We are from Ohio and wanted to take our children on a road trip to a new state this summer. We decided on Wisconsin and were thrilled to find Mark and Julie's property! No detail was overlooked: the house was immaculately clean, many extras (beach towels, indoor and outdoor games, toiletries, kitchen basics, life vests, etc) were there for our use, and Mark and Julie (and their dog Radio!) were the most gracious hosts. The property is located on a quiet dead-end road which just adds to the peaceful feel. We found many fun family-oriented things to do in the area and can't wait to come back and stay again!

Parent's Vacation
The house is even better than the pictures online, and a great place for a large family or a few couples (like we did). The owners are right next door with their adorable labrador, Radio, and they are all incredibly friendly and hospitable (especially the dog). We enjoyed kayaking on the river and biking around the country roads. Haven't rented too many homes, but I wouldn't be surprised if we find our way back up here in the future. Thanks for a much needed relaxing vacation.

Relaxing week on the water
The house is exactly as pictured in the photos. Immaculately clean and inviting. The property is lovely with lots of space to sit and enjoy being on the water. Julie and Mark are wonderfully attentive hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great spot to get away from it all!

Great outdoor space
The place was very immaculately clean and very comfortable. The design was thought of with guests in mind. The house was stocked with everything we needed. Setting was very relaxing on the water. We spent the entire time outside playing games and kayaking. The hosts were extremely nice and hospitable. They made us feel at home. It was like we had our own concierge. Perfect place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with great outdoors space.
