The cottage size and location were perfect for us. The property was beautiful, as well. The cottage was stocked with almost everything you could need, including pans, coffee maker, cooking utensils, games, books, laundry, etc. We easily got to different sites we wanted to see. There were only a couple minor things that were a bit annoying, if that. There was a very small ant problem, no microwave or tissues. Aunt sits could be a little cleaner, as well. But, I would 100% recommend a stay.

Excellent stay! 10/10 cleanliness and amenities. They do a great job maintaining the living space. The animals and surrounding property are very lovely as well! We will definitely be coming back next year

Loved everything about this property…. The farm animals, the blooming hydrangeas, the fun deck… all of it. Easy access to Redwood National Park, the beautiful lagoons, and the great Trinidad lighthouse hike. Charlie was an awesome host. Only suggestion is to have coffee available and a microwave too!

I loved everything about my stay at Seawoods Cottage. The premises was beautiful and charming and had everything a guest could possibly need. I had high expectations given the amazing reviews, and my expectations were exceeded. Seawoods Cottage is an absolute gem!

Our family is traveling from Alaska to Virginia and didn’t know how much we craved a quiet respite. Between the crashing waves on the coast and the quiet, shady dampness of the forest trails to the peaceful buzzing of garden bumblebees & grazing farm animals- our stay in Trinidad was a welcomed pause. The cottage was well stocked, clean, and peaceful with comfortable beds. Thank you for a spot to feel right at home during a time of transition.

Cottage was clean and orderly. Lots of cool personal touches all around. Could hear frogs and sea lions from cottage. WiFi was down the entire stay, but part of me is cool with that.

My teenaged children and I enjoyed our stay. The cottage is lovely, well-equipped, and very clean. The farm is beautiful. We enjoyed feeding the animals directly from the garden. The game room was a hit as well. The location was ideal for us as it was within 1/2 a mile of gorgeous forest and ocean views, and amazing hikes to secluded beaches. Perfection.

This was a surprisingly lovely place situated evenly between Trinidad, CA and the Redwood Parks visitor center. It was small but well-appointed, organized, and clean. The kitchen was easy to work in with a large kitchen island that was fun to gather around for meals. The cottage, garden, and farm setting (with friendly animals) was beautiful and relaxing. No concerns.

Very nice cottage, loved the farm with donkeys & baby goats. Got a lot of fun petting them & watching the goats hopping around. Very quiet, nice fireplace. No TV, but watching the fire much more enjoyable. Wished I could have used the outdoor fire pit, just didn’t have the time.

The Cottage is located on beautiful grounds. The area is very peaceful and quiet. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived. It has lots of light, windows all the way around.

We loved staying here. It’s close to the town of Trinidad, the beach, and the Redwoods. We spent our days hiking and beaching. It’s all within 15 mins of each other. The farm is such a nice touch, too. Loved the animals! We would stay here again for sure!

First time to see the redwoods
The property was perfect for the two of us. Loved visiting with the animals each day. My husband cooked breakfast each day but we ate dinner at almost every restaurant in town and they were all very good. Perfect little spot to see the redwoods. Just to note there was no TV but that didn’t bother us.

The animals and cottage are perfect for 3 people. Very clean and has everything you need. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is due to the lack of heat. The space heater is too bright to sleep with and the fireplace didn't work well with higher winds. I suggest staying in a warmer month after April.

It was incredibly well insulated so retained the heat from the fireplace well and or the small space heater at night.
We loved such close access to the donkeys and goats and enjoyed feeding them and petting them when they came over. Also loved the outside tub. Just perfect for our getaway.

Very nice place to stay. We were only there two nights but we were wishing the trip was longer on the way home. Felt very private and secluded and peaceful.
