Very clean and modern flat. A well stocked honesty bar was great to have, with a coffee machine, a big selection of drinks and some snacks. Good breakfast selection, continental and freshly made eggs, in a lovely breakfast room / terrace.

The living area of the flat was very dark.

The property is well-maintained, has exquisite style. In the rooms everything is thought through - you simply don’t wanna leave it (you could simply pass out on a rocking chair wrapped in the softest blanket) . We had the most amazing sleep. There are binoculars in the room as well so you can spend some time birdwatching from the balcony or take it to the park with you. The staff is very helpful and nice to talk to, they tended to many of our questions and requests and were very so friendly! But the most amazing thing about this property is its’ location in the national park. We rented e-bicycles with the hotel and explored the trails of the park, especially mesmerising during the heather season. Could not stress enough that it’s a must!

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the expectations associated with the hotel’s pricing and reputation. The overall cleanliness of the property was below the standard we expected. During our stay, we noticed mice on multiple occasions, as well as spiders and spider webs in various areas of the hotel. A particularly concerning issue was related to data security and guest communication. A few weeks before our stay, I received a WhatsApp message claiming that payment for my reservation had not been completed. Had I not contacted the hotel directly to verify the request, I could easily have fallen victim to a scam. This raises concerns about the security of customer information and the measures in place to protect guests from fraudulent communications. We also found the service to be disappointing. Staff members appeared slow to respond and were not particularly helpful, especially during breakfast service. Overall, the level of attentiveness and customer care fell below expectations. We booked one of the hotel’s premium rooms and paid more than €300 for a one-night stay, including breakfast. Despite this, the bathroom sink was blocked and drained very slowly throughout our stay. In addition, the room lacked some of the amenities and equipment one would reasonably expect at this price point. While the location and surrounding nature are beautiful, the overall experience did not provide the level of quality, service, and attention to detail that we expected for the amount paid.
