The host Phil was very welcoming, a very pleasant chap. The location was great, so quiet, peaceful & totally out of the way.
We found that as well as being enjoyable in its own right it was also a good base for visiting attractions like The Monkey Forest at Trentham, Tittesworth reservoir and Churnet Valley Railway as we did or if Theme parks are your bag then Alton Towers is just a few miles away..
All in all a very nice place to stay and great value for money....
I know that it can just be a preference thing but the mattress didn't feel very comfortable for myself or my partner..

Gorgeous setting and a really lovely little romantic cottage.
There is no phone signal at all. No wifi/ Internet or landline. Not ideal with a little one. Ahh! I actually had to speak to my husband! Plus a heads up we could have dug out some dvds.
I appreciate some people want that... but I certainly didn't.
Little one did, however, learn what a Disco (dvd) is. Lol

"The host gave clear instructions where the Keys would be in the cottage and actually ended up meeting him there."
