La struttura dispone di spazio extra in cortile per tutte le attività all'aperto, è anche possibile godere di un falò. Cabina per tutte le stagioni, quindi porta i tuoi giocattoli. Ci sono 3 marina nel raggio di 3 miglia con possibilità di noleggiare barche, attrezzi da pesca e attrezzatura per la pesca sul ghiaccio. My family and I recently stayed at Amanda's cabin for five nights while we were in town for a vacation with our extended family. Amanda was responsive before and during our stay, and the property was exactly as pictured in the listing. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out and have enough room to sleep and lounge around during our slow mornings. The front patio is a lovely place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail, and you have a great view of the lake from the patio as well. The downstairs bedrooms are on the smaller side, but we were still able to fit a pack-n-play in one of the bedrooms for our toddler. This is a great place for a family or group of friends!

Fun at the lake
All was good, except. The furniture was very very uncomfortable to sit in. Seemed very old and worn out. The water from the faucets and shower was very very stinky. Hard to even use.

The host Amanda was very responsive to my inquires before and during the stay. Her home is nothing short of amazing for anyone traveling to Houghton Lake. Whether it’s friends and or a family trip. There is plenty of room inside and outside for relaxing. Love so much we just might make this place a reoccurring trip every summer :)

Great communication from owner, clean property, all you need are clothes and toiletries. Even in winter in a pandemic, there is a ton to do. Slept 4 adults, 6 kids and a dog comfortably.

The stay was nice the two main thinks was the heat was great in the loft the main floor was a little cool and the tiolet was little short for 6 footers plus in size. The owner was great to work with and we had a great stay !

Upland Hunting Trip
We travelled to Michigan for a grouse/woodcock hunting trip and bought our dogs. The house is clean and well maintained. It has a fenced in backyard which was great for the dogs. It is a double lot and has a firepit in the second lot. Just a short walk to the lake and close to the state route for access out of town. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. Overall a great fit for us. Would stay again.

Friends getaway
Nice cabin near the lake. The kids had fun walking down to the dock and riding bikes in the neighborhood. Friendly neighbors, nice community. We rented a boat from the near by marina and had a great time on the water. The cabin was convienently located close to grocery stores, gas, ice cream. Only down side was one bathroom and little water pressure, but we made it work with 5 adults and 7 kids! Overall great stay!

The home was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. My kids and I felt right at home and I knew if we needed anything the owners would be right there to answer any questions. Also there was a basketball hoop for my 13 year old and he greatly appreciated that.

I would recommend!!
We went up with 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 Dogs and it was nice for a weekend stay. The upstairs loft was too warm to sleep in, but the owners are aware and working on that issue! However we still all had a bed to sleep in and it worked out! The cabin was decorated nicely, and located just down the street from the water. Three streets up is a super cute park and beach area that was not overcrowded and it was where we spent most of the day! We had open communication with Amanda whenever/if we needed something and she was awesome to work with! Overall I will definitely recommend this cabin!

I cannot thank you enough for letting us 4 couples utilize your place. So cute and the location was great for our needs. Very clean, organized, decor was beautiful. Overall fantastic experience with the dwelling and renter too!
Congrats on a job well done! Will definitely keep this in mind for another trip to the area!
