We loved the private fishing pier and all the birds and stingrays and dolphins that were there regularly. Caught lots of fish. The pool was perfect! It was walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Close beach access! We really enjoyed our stay and the host was great with answering any questions we had and even got us checked in early.

You're an easy walk to restaurants and shops, and downtown Pensacola is a quick drive, so we never felt like we had to plan around getting anywhere.Having the Sound right in the backyard was the highlight for us. We paddleboarded and kayaked right off the property, spent time on the pier, and when we wanted a break from the bay the pool was right there. Going back and forth between the water and the pool all day was perfect for the kids. The house itself was super convenient too, with a good layout and everything set up so a family can just settle in and enjoy the week.Two small things worth mentioning, neither of which would stop us from booking again. The air conditioner may need to be recharged. It ran constantly during the day, and while we could get it down to 70 at night, it would creep up into the upper 70s by afternoon even running nonstop. Not a huge deal, but the living room got a little uncomfortable by early evening. I called the front desk and they said this was normal, but it felt like it was working harder than it should.The other was the water treatment plant next door. Most of the week it was a total non-issue and we honestly forgot it was there. But Thursday evening they started venting gases and there was a noticeable smell that night into Friday. That was the only occurrence, so I'm not sure if it's a weekly thing or just bad timing, but it was the one real buzzkill of the trip.Overall though, this place is hard to beat. Bay access with a pier, a private pool, walkable to everything, and a comfortable house that fit our whole family. We loved it and we'll be back next summer.

Overall we had good time on vacation, the property is nice and comfortable, but could have been more thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival for example the kitchen counters and coffee makers didnt look touched by the stove. I understand it was a very busy weekend with the air show. The view is beautiful and the pool was fun, however please note the liner is wrinkled and then torn in one area held up with duck tape. The property looks bigger in pictures. The biggest complaint unfortunately that would keep us from renting again is the smell outside being next to whatever treatment plant that is, made it smell like a sewer often outside. Its very unpleasant. Over all we enjoyed the space but would not rent again.
