Perfect house for 6 adults. The location was great....quick trip to downtown but also not real far from the other end. House had all needed items. The view...can't say enough about that. The beds were comfy. We always felt safe. The lizards will visit you every morning so pick up some fruit. The pool was just big enough for cooling down and hanging out a bit. We found lots of sea glass at the house also, which is something we have been trying to find for the last few years. We would definitely rent this house again and recommend to everyone!

This is a perfect vacation rental on Isla Mejures! The location is very convenient to downtown for shopping, dining and North Beach, just a few minutes on the cart. The home is newer and fresh. The sound of the ocean and constant breeze on the patio is everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well around the Casa. Would stay again and appreciate the owner and staff making our stay perfect!

Really beautiful spot, if you’re a strong swimmer, the snorkeling is actually pretty good there too. Our kids loved playing in the sand and watching the hermit crabs and iguanas. It was a good place to unwind from our many trips out to explore the island. I found the location to be great. The pool was shaded for afternoon swimming, both sides of island just a short drive away. Overall, great stay.

What a great little place to stay. The back patio, pool, and beach area is amazing! The ocean here isn’t accessible (pretty rocky) unless you’re adventurous. We did see several others out past the rocks in the ocean, but we were content hearing it and seeing it. Lots of seashells ready to be found. The iguanas and hermit crabs provided great entertainment. There are a couple restaurants in walking distance. Coco Jaguar was our favorite. As others have said, Chema was absolutely amazing. He took care of our every need. The beds were comfortable and made for a great visit. Isla is a wonderful place!!

This place was amazing! I worried that the pictures were making this place out to be something that its not and I was right, they simply don't hold a candle to the actual space. When we arrived we were greeted by a fantastic Check-in person, Chema. I'm not sure if its always the same person checking you in or not but fingers crossed anyone in the future gets Chema. He was very knowledgeable about the property and the island. This was not our first time on the island but we did have some concerns and questions and he answered them completely. He even contacted a golf cart rental place and had them bring a cart to the house so that we could secure a rental for the 4 days we were there. He had recommendations on restaurants and even said we could contact him directly for delivery of food. As far as the house it was beautiful, all three rooms were big and each had their own bathroom. I was really impressed with the mattresses. I have stayed other places in Mexico and had really hard almost solid style mattresses but these were perfect, similar to memory foam. The outdoor patios and lounge areas were amazing, we actually spent a lot of our time relaxing on the second floor balcony couch, this is a perfect place to take a siesta. The kitchen downstairs was fully stocked with all the dishes and appliances needed. We used the blender for Margaritas and the cutting boards for fresh fruits (both are musts when visiting the island). The house is centrally located on the island and has a perfect beach area. we spent the mornings watching the sunrise and basking in the rays until about lunch time. The pool was perfect for our four guest and was a little chillier that I expected but was a great way to cool off from the Mexican sun. The owners have put a lot of thought into the rental experience, from the guide book to the little details around the house, which I don't want to spoil for future guests. I have traveled this world for both work and pleasure and this is by far one of my favorite places I've stayed.

Being able to walk directly out onto the beach and hear the sounds of the crashing surf from every room made our trip so relaxing. When we arrived, we were met by the property manager, Chema who was fantastic (go eat at his family's restaurant too!) He was right on time and made our check in very easy. We rented a golf cart for the week and found the location to be perfect - away from the fray but easy 5-10 mins in the golf cart to almost anywhere. We didn't consider any of these things a detriment, but just for clarity's sake... there is no formal dining table in the house (there is a great kitchen island with seating and 2 outdoor spaces with tables); there is somewhat limited seating inside the house living space but honestly who is going to sit inside on this beautiful island? Also, if you have small children (we do not) the two upper bedrooms require you to step outside in order to get from one to the other (all safe and within confines of the house but there is no internal hallway.) We didn't mind those things at all and would 100% return to this great house.

The condo/house location on island is perfect. Not to close to busy center city, but easy to reach restaurants in Center city and our favorites nearby and in the south part of island. We rented a golf cart for the week which made it so easy to explore the island and drive to restaurants. The house faces the E/NE and the view of the ocean is spectacular. The sound of the surf is constant and we love this part. We only used the air conditioning 2 nights. The windows were open the rest of the time with wonderful breezes and the sound of the surf. The beds are very comfortable and we are picky! Our favorite spot of the condo was the balcony off the upstairs bedroom where we stayed. Comfortable sectional and large table. We spent many evenings having an after dinner drink watching the beautiful view under the moon. There is no doubt we will be back to Isla Mujeres and staying here if it is available.

Amazing space! We really enjoyed the house and the location. Tracy was very responsive and made everything seamless... during a pandemic no less. We will definitely be back!

We loved our time at Casa Kaay Ha! This is my third visit to Isla Mejeres and we’ve had nice places each visit- but this is my favorite place so far. We got a kick out of the cat who came to visit each morning and waited for us to get up and then insistently meowed at us until we fed her. As far as the rental, the location is great and the house is beautiful. We rented a golf cart for the week so we could explore the island. We also enjoyed walking to places nearby for breakfast and dinner. There is a laundry not far which is handy. The only recommendation we would make to improve the experience would be to have somewhere available to hang a few clothes. I know this has been mentioned in previous comments and I didn’t think it would be a big deal, but it can be if you have wet clothes that need to be aired. The property manager also was extremely helpful in setting up Covid testing for us which made this trip possible, for which we are very grateful. Overall, wonderful vacation!

The home is located on the Caribbean side of the island a few steps away from the De Luisa restaurant and across the street from the school. The home has some flaws, however. There isn’t one single closet in the entire home. Not in any of the bedrooms or any other area. We were provided a bar that hung over the door to hang maybe 6 or 7 items. There isn’t a dresser either aside from a storage type thing with cloth drawers now wide enough to fold a shirt and put it in. A wardrobe that allowed for hanging would’ve been great. No hair dryer provided so bring your own. No iron to iron the wrinkled clothes that you can’t hang up so be aware of that. Also, there is no oven so don’t buy anything at the Chedraui that needs to be cooked in an oven. Water pressure is pretty weak. Hot water takes a very long time to heat up. We couldn’t even get the water hot in the kitchen and it trickles out. We called maintenance but no one was sent to look at it. Only one TV and it’s in the “living room” which isn’t really a living room. I can’t even imagine how two couple could congregate there. Not enough seating at all. It was cold and rainy when we were there so these things were more irritating than usual. Had it been nice out we wouldn’t have cared much as we’d have been outside doing things. Location is the best thing about this house as it is right on the ocean and there is no cliff to walk down from as some homes have on that side of the island. The breeze is wonderful. The most comfortable bed is downstairs we slept there the first night but we couldn’t open the patio doors since it was ground floor and we’ve been robbed in Mexico before so we are cautious about that. The upstairs beds are very uncomfortable and extremely firm. A decent mattress topper on each would sure help make this home more comfortable.

Overall we had an amazing vacation and this property was a huge part of it. Two things that are hard to tell from the listing: -The photos on the listing actually don't do the house justice, it's an awesome house! -While the house is located right on the beach, I would not recommend swimming as there is a very strong rip tide and the waves crash right on top of rocks/reef.

Property was awesome! Perfect location! Definitely would rent again and refer others!
