It was perfect for us

The little red house in the woods was the perfect HQ for our three-night October visit to the Adirondacks. Very quiet and comfortable, charming furnishings. Seemed just a bit musty upon arrival, but that dissipated with air circulation. Because we like to cook and dining-out options are limited at this time of year, we prepared all of our meals. Kitchen equipment is adequate but a few additional baking pans would be useful. Don't forget to bring towels and sheets!

Great place for the whole family to stay for a camping weekend without the tents. Close to trails and lakes. Plus the property was set up for grilling and a campfire. It rained during our stay, so we were lucky to be in the enclosed side porch and not outside in tents.

This place was a perfect fit for our weekend with friends! It was very clean, beautifully decorated, easily accessible, in a quiet setting and convenient to all our adventures! The beds were very comfortable and there was lots of hot water.
We will stay here again!!

Comfortable house for relaxing and experiencing the Adirondacks. Nice to be able to have campfires and good access to both Inlet and Old Forge without being right in town. Perfect location to see the fall colorful leaves. A good range of walking /hiking trails close by.

We enjoyed the property very much. WiFi worked great for us, the firepit was a nice relaxation time, and overall the house was very comfortable.
The kitchen was wonderful and had everything we needed. We all fit around the dining table and had meals there.
The beds were all comfortable and clean, as were the bathrooms.
The location is great, there is a little traffic on the road but nothing bad. And the neighbor did run a machine of some sort for a bit one day but that was nothing either.
Overall a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed staying here. The house was clean. The area was super quiet and secluded. The only minus was the lack of wifi. We didn't care about the TV, but not having a phone connection incase of emergency was not what we expected. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Place was awsome quit, very comfortable great location just far enough away for old forge but yet just close enough and the hostess was great recommend to anyone to stay there, would definitely stay there again

It was a perfect vacation spot! Close to beautiful trails and an excellent ice cream spot! The house was very clean. There were a couple of kitchen items (dishwasher soap and foil) that hadn’t been restocked. We reached out to the owners, they got back to us immediately, and in less than an hour the things that were missing and more were delivered.

My sons and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean
and well maintained. Each of my adult sons and I felt the mattresses on the 3 beds that were utilized, did not provide
sufficient support and we recommend that they should replaced.

The inside of the camp was well appointed with lots of wood on the walls and flooring in that Adirondack setting, The rooms were comfortable with lots of space to move around. Camp furnishings accommodated our needs. We were disappointed with the TV. Poor selections from Roku. We missed our Fox news! A few more pots and pans would be helpful in the kitchen. Overall, the camp was perfect for our needs.
One last thought, whoever stayed in the camp before us turned the heat on. One morning we awoke to have the heat running while our windows were open. I turned the thermostat down to its lowest setting.

Nice getaway in ADK
Very nice quiet house/camp nestled in the trees. Fire pit with circle of chairs around it was perfect for S'mores. No A/C but wasn't really needed for the time we were there. The fans for each bedroom were great. Highly recommend for a few days or more with family.

The house is in great shape. We love the location, just 5 minutes from the beach in inlet. All the appliances are working well. The covered back porch is great for coffee in the morning or enjoying a rain shower.

my only complaint is the key lock. I had a hard time getting the key out. Probably due to my inexperience with these types of key locks.

Spectacular stay
We had a spectacular long weekend stay at this cabin. It was spotlessly clean with super comfortable furniture and it was well stocked with all the essentials. You can tell that the owners care about their property and the ones who stay for a visit. It’s located in a private, quiet location but not too far from Inlet or Old Forge. I highly recommend this one and I will definitely book another stay.

Lovely lodge
We loved this lodge! The beds were comfy. The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals. The porch was nice for coffee & donuts in the morning. The location was great for visiting old forge and inlet. I especially loved the night lights! The only thing to make this rental better would be a keurig! Would stay again. Highly recommend.

Great Experience
The house is as described. It is tucked in the woods and a very private location. However, only a few minutes from good restaurants and fun shopping in Old Forge. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen is nicely stocked. We had a great weekend and plan on returning to this location.

We enjoyed a wonderful vacation here! The house was clean, comfortable and anything we needed was there. I loved the Adk furnishings & decor too! The central location was perfect for everything we wanted to do as we showed off this beautiful area to family, who were visiting the Adirondak Park for the first time! Any questions I asked, were responded to right away. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!!!
