Atypique notre cher Michel 😊

Kind, chatty and knowledgeable owner who takes pride in looking after his guests.
Well located for the town centre and castle.
Rooms clean, tidy and practical.
Good hearty continental breakfast.
Road facing room was a little noisy and would benefit from touching-up in places.

There aren’t many places to stay in this town. So it’s a good location very close to the castle otherwise… the owners are very friendly man who clearly loves his property in the history of his family in the area. However…
This property requires a very serious renovation. It is also not very clean. The rooms are large and comfortable. At least on the second floor. But otherwise the house feels a little bit stuffy and dusty. I would definitely not stay in any of rooms downstairs which I think are number five or four. That whole part of the house feels like a musty, dusty, moldy, dungeon
