House was updated so well and the kitchen was stocked extremely well.

Right on the highway - would have loved to have known that as it was loud. Also didn’t love the primary bedroom don’t have full shades.

The design of the log cabin was beautiful. The location is walking distance to Gooseberry Falls.

The location was one of our favorite things about the property. It was right across the road from Gooseberry Falls and close to so many other places we wanted to visit, including Split Rock Lighthouse, Black Beach, and other attractions along the North Shore. It made it really easy to explore the area without having to drive very far.

Communication with the owners was disappointing. I reached out four days before our stay with a few questions, and although the messages were viewed, I never received a response. I followed up with another question two days before our stay and again the day before, and unfortunately never received a response to any of the messages. There were also a few issues with the property itself. When we arrived, there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, and we found used nicotine pouches in different areas of the house. The photos and description also made the home appear quite a bit larger than it actually was. Our biggest issue, though, was the hot water. We didn’t have hot water about half of the time, sometimes even on the first attempt to use it that day.
