View was phenomenal and almost worth it on that alone. It was comfortable for the 10 of us (3 families with kids) to stay in. Fire pit, pool table and hot tub was a nice surprise. We had some maintenance issues when we arrived but property manager was responsive in the evening and issue was resolved next day.

Furniture was a bit worn, cabin not really clean at all, wobbly chairs, threadbare couches and there was a ton of leftover kitchen stuff (some perishable) left from previous stay so that there was barely room for anything we brought in. There was only 4 full sized towels for all of us and about 30 hand towels. We had to go find the bath towels in the dryer when we arrived and wash them multiple times throughout. The ski in/ski out is an absolute misnomer and should be made clear that it's a bonus and not guaranteed which is implied by putting it in the title. I understand why its in the title, and understand you can't control the resort, but looking around a few other reviews, we weren't the only ones that caught the difficulty of actually using it. Yes, there is a green run that passes close to the house, but it's not listed on angelfire's ski resort map (the only place I ever saw the trail mentioned was a worn out sign on the side of the heading home run) and doesn't look like it's been open in years (waist-high grass, etc). There were 12 inches of snow in the days before we arrived and it was still impassable because of buried rocks, etc that you had to risk. We tried it once and 30 minutes later, realized if we drove down to the base it'd take about the same amount of time, not to mention is you have kids. The possibility of ski in/ski out not being available was only made known after we had booked and would have lost a portion of our deposit to back out at that point, so we chanced it, not knowing there was a 0% chance of it being open, no matter how much snow. I don't think it was intentionally deceptive, but anyone booking should plan on this not being ski in-ski out rather than the other way around.

The cabin was the perfect size for my family, I loved how there was tea/coffee/hot chocolate available with all the appliances you could possibly need or want, and the views were breathtaking.

It was very dark around the parameters of the house, it was very dark on the porch when we arrived with 1 very small motion light above the driveway.

Dirt on bed mattress, light bulbs out in back of house , kitchen pan very old, vent hood didn't work in kitchen possibly update on stove
