Hotel is very nice, the room very comfortable and clean, also they provide pyjamas, and water every day, friendly staff, the restaurant has good food.

They don’t clean the rooms every day.

The location was excellent for what we wanted. The rooms were great, loved the spa/sauna

Facilities were amazing. Especially the bath. The japanese breakfast was a delicious breakfast and exactly what I wished for in my stay in japan.

The pillows were not very comfortable for me.

The spa was nice, and the room was spacious for Japanese standards.

The service doesn’t live up to the expectations when it comes to 4 star hotels. • We were asked to check in in advance online. We spent time and effort doing it and then the page glitched and we had to do it again. We ended up completing the process in the hotel. We found it to be time consuming. None of the other 7 hotels we stayed at in Japan asked for this. • They don’t offer laundry service, but instead - they ask you to do it yourself. It’s not a 4 star hotel experience. We had to wait for the machines to free up and wasted 3 hours on one of the days instead of sightseeing. We would have paid more not to have to deal with this. It feels like a dormitory, and not a hotel. • The same thing happened with the luggage forwarding - it’s a self service activity. All other hotels and places where we stayed handled this for us. Here we had to go through an online process and then fill out labels manually, too. Last but not least - be aware the facilities for men and women aren’t the same every day. They swap between spa and sauna every night, so if you’re staying for one night only you’ll get to experience only one or the other. This isn’t clearly stated anywhere. It’s only in the fine print after you’ve booked. All in all we had a safe and decent stay but for the amount we paid compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan, this wasn’t worth it
