We stayed here because we wanted an authentic experience in southern Albania. The location was great for visiting the Tekke of Melania, taking a day trip to Girokaster, seeing the nearby Roman ruins, and visiting Libohovë, while staying in a rural setting. The breakfasts were great! We enjoyed one dinner on the farm, which was nice for the experience, although we didn't feel the need to have it there more than once (cost - 27e for two). Meals are served on tables outside the guest homes. Lots of animals running around, which was really fun to see. Grandma Landa is so sweet, and Agnesa was available via WhatsApp if we had any needs. The family was constantly making sure we had snacks (homegrown walnuts and fresh figs)! Wifi was surprisingly good for being in such a rural place. We enjoyed observing the multigenerational family that lives on and around this farm. Some of the extended relatives were particularly kind to us - it was great to speak with them.

We would have loved a tour or explanation of the farm to understand better where we were staying, or the ability to observe or participate in anything related to the farm life. We stayed in the older one-floor guest home, which I believe is not quite as nice as the two-story home. Overall, it felt like the pricing was a bit high for what it was, but in the end, we felt happy to support this kind family.

We had an amazing stay. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, everything from the farm and absolutely delicious. Such a lovely stay, beautiful accommodation and really surrounded by the animals. Incredibly kind people, and they respond super quickly. The directions to get there were very clear: the last stretch is a bit bumpy, but manageable if you drive slowly. When our wifi went down, they lent us one of their phones with a hotspot. So sweet and really well arranged.

The views are out of this world, you feel surrounded true nature, the animals sounds, the peacefulness and the glory of the mountains. We stayed for 5 nights, which was just great, not too much not too little. I have a teenage and a 6 years old, they had no problem making friends with the farm children, they were shown around, allowed to play and feed the horses and chickens. Breakfast and dinner were plenty, served near the cabin. They did checking in with us to see if everything was fine throughout our stay. If you are considering going, just go, it’s far better to your mental health and allow yourself to just step back and forget the city for a while.

There’s really nothing I would say would put me off on coming back.
