A gorgeous hotel, with pleasant, helpful staff.
High base price, and nickel and diming drive up the price even more.
The freeway noise is very intrusive, if you use the balcony. (It's fine in the room with the balcony door closed..)

The place is very stylish, nicely decorated and well maintained. It is located in the close proximity to the San Juan Capistrano Mission, and guests enjoy free admission. The pool was nice and clean, and the gardens were lovely.

Fabulous stay! Beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, wonderful restaurant, polite and courteous staff. The property itself is very nice and we were given free admission tickets to the mission next door. Multiple restaurants within walking distance although we ate only at the hotel.
We couldn’t stay longer.

Beautiful property.
But our initial check in was an issue. I had made a change (adding a night) several days earlier and recieved a confirmation. When getting to the front desk, they did not have my change. Then after checking multiple computers, said sorry, ok we have it now but your room is not ready. It was past checkin time.
Also, 2 our 4 nights the AC was not working. And it was a heatwave in SoCal.
