From the moment we arrived at Ne Pakku Homestay, we felt right at home. We received such a warm welcome, and Meyske is an incredibly kind, attentive host who took care of every little detail throughout our stay. The traditional house is absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated. Our room was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom—equipped with hot water and filled with lush plants—is genuinely gorgeous. On top of that, the home-cooked meals prepared by her and her mother were delicious; we ate so well every single day. If we ever find ourselves back in Rantepao, we wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. We highly, highly recommend this homestay!

This is a fantastic homestay in a beautiful location. Don’t expect satin sheets (or glass windows 😉), but for those who prefer homestays over comfy hotels this is a must. Our stay at Meyske’s place and our visit to Tana Toraja were the absolute highlight of our trip to Sulawesi. Meyske is both an excellent cook and a passionate guide. I’d advice anyone to consult her on the opportunities for a 2 or 3-day tour. We absolutely loved it.
