Felt the property was excellent.

The location in the city was super easy walk around York.

Excellent location, lift to the third apartment, nice view, main room is large and beautiful, all very clean and well equipped.

Second bedroom was very small - access to the other side of the bed very awkward, and the bed very low. While it says it sleeps 6, it is really only comfortable for 3 (5 & 6 would have to sleep in the sitting room and no bedding is provided for them). Our main problem was getting information about access in sufficient time, but that was the fault of Booking.com, not of the property.

Perfect situation for all you need to see in York, everything is on the doorstep. The accommodation is amazing and full of old charm and character with a modern twist. Also has the added benefit of a lift. As our trip was last minute we only stayed for 2 nights, but we will definitely be returning for a longer period. Very impressed

Nothing to dislike

The apartment itself was nice and in a perfect location.

We arrived at 8pm on a Friday night in February (really cold weather) to an apartment with no heating on and no instructions on how to turn it on. We spent ages trying to get it to turn on, I tried to use Chat GPT to help and also called my husband, but it was impossible to turn on. I contacted the hosts, which didn't turn out to be helpful, with us even being questioned if we were sure the heating wasn't on (it was 9 degrees in the house!). After numerous messages and phone calls, we gave up and the 3 of us ended up sitting under a duvet in the living room on the first night and showering in freezing cold temperatures the next morning. Someone did come round on the second day to put the heating on, but it really spoilt the experience.
