Benvenuti a Giggle Fish su Hood Canal! La nostra casa sulla spiaggia sul lungomare è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi e ammirare le vedute tranquille di Hood Canal. Con tre camere da letto, può ospitare comodamente sei persone. La nostra struttura è completamente recintata e accetta animali domestici. Ci sono molti posti per rilassarsi, dentro e fuori. Con i ponti fuori sia dalla cabina della spiaggia che dalla casa della barca, puoi trovare sole e ombra durante i mesi estivi. L'area esterna offre molti posti a sedere, un pozzo del fuoco, un prato per giocare e un facile accesso alla spiaggia. Nei mesi invernali, l'area interna è un luogo accogliente per il relax. Gioca a un gioco da tavolo, leggi un libro o cucina un buon pasto nella nostra cucina ben arredata. Da tutte le finestre, ti divertirai a guardare le varie specie selvatiche di aquile calve, aironi e altri uccelli marini, foche, leoni marini e persino le balene occasionali.
Appena a nord della città di Hoodsport, la nostra posizione offre un rapido accesso a negozi di alimentari e ristoranti, nonché numerose attività all'aperto. Ci sono escursioni meravigliose in tutta la Foresta Nazionale Olimpica e nei laghi vicini. Hoodsport è un paradiso per le immersioni subacquee, in quanto siamo molto vicini al Sund Rock Marine Preserve. Un breve viaggio verso nord ti porta a Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, un posto divertente dove gustare cene all'aperto con cibi locali o acquistare crostacei locali. Ci sono anche campi da golf e casinò nelle vicinanze. Naturalmente una volta varcato il cancello della proprietà, potresti non voler andartene!

This is a true waterfront property with beach access. The main house has everything you need for a great stay. Comfortable furniture inside and out. 2 spacious bedrooms upstairs and a big open kitchen, dining and living space plus full bathroom downstairs. Dining and grill outside as well. The small cabin has a full bathroom and bedroom. Close to town.

The house is very attractive and well equipped with a lovely deck overllooking the water. Unfortunately it is on a really busy road with big trucks constantly passing starting from quite early in the morning. We arrived in pouring rain and did not have the access code as it had been sent to the wrong email, and the VRBO communication function was not working so had to call several times to reach the agent to get the code. There were problems with the water supply to the surrounding houses and our water was turned off while the neighbours tried to fix things, which was ok as we went out so they could complete. The agent kindly offered to bring extra water but we said we did not need but appreciated the offer. Communication on departure was also disappointing the booklet in the house said vacate by 12pm and the app with our booking details said depart by 11am - we rang 3 times and spoke to the person at the agency who had no information and said she would speak to the correct person and confirm, we never received a call back so left by 11am leaving the house tidy as requested. Our overall view is that we liked the house but the location was not as good as we had hoped due to noise We did visit laske cushon in the nearby state park and found a lovely restaurant in a hotel in Union which was nice as we were there for my birthday and there was very little choice in Hoodsport unless you wanted basic pub food.

Found this to be a lovely little place right on the hood canal - very well appointed and modern - only downside was the road noise - but not too bad and overall a great place to stay

This place was a gem! Our portion of the beach was larger than I was expecting and the fenced in yard was perfect for our kiddo and pup. The house had everything we needed and although we ended up not needing the boathouse, I thought the addition of that space was great. The road noise was definitely a thing but it wouldn't detour me from renting this property again.

My husband and I had not had a vacation in over 5 years. We were so overdue to relax and have a place that we could take our dog. This was it! The yard is so secure that I never once worried about him. The spectacular views were something else. My favorite part was being able to listen to the waves and smell the fresh salt air. This was extremely hard to leave at the end of our vacation. A definite do over.

This is probably the best house near Hoodsport. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog, and to play lawn games while looking over the water. At high tide its a breeze to get your paddle boards or kayaks (bring your own) into the water. Yes you hear the traffic, but there is no other option if you want to be on the water, as all water front houses here are on route 101. There was a nice new large grill, and well stocked kitchen. We had a lovely time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Giggle Fish. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. The kitchen was fully equipped and they even had bags for the dogs deposits in the yard. The beds were very comfortable. My only suggestion would be to possibly have a small air conditioner in the upstairs bedrooms because they tend to be pretty hot in the warm weather.

We have two sons who live in the Tacoma / Olympia area and visit each year. We try to find somewhere they will enjoy going as well as us. Giggle Fish was all it was promised to be!

Accessing the property was very easy and Jolene was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. The house has everything you need and was so clean, warm, inviting, and comfortable. The views were incredible and we loved the fenced large yard for our pup and the fire pit outside to enjoy in the evenings. The beds were super cozy and comfortable. Can't wait to go back!

Loved staying at Giggle fish. The location was perfect for a family vacation. Enjoyed the wildlife from the deck, hiking Mt Eleanor and staircases and the brewery. The house had everything—well stocked and very clean!!

Also about 5 mins drive to town where there’s grocery store, restraunts and bars. 20 minute drive to Lake Cushman (highly recommend). We had a wonderful time and would stay here again!

The property was beautiful and set up well for dogs. Our party of women had a great time at the property celebrating our friends 60th birthday. The upstairs bedrooms were hot, but we quickly figured out how to cool it down. It might be really warm in the summer time. It was beautiful, we saw all kinds of wild life. It was fun!

Relaxing
My husband has been going through chemotherapy and the Giggle Fish was the perfect place to get away, relax and try and forget about things for awhile. We both agree that just watching the tide come and go was good for the soul. The Giggle Fish is relaxing, has charm and everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Its clean and the living room is cozy and comfortable. We hope to be back and stay in the future!

Came back and hung our gear on the fences and railings for it to dry and there was no wind to knock things around. We went inside and played board games and made dinner--it was awesome! The next night (after we dived at Sund Rock), we came home and had a nice little bonfire. We watched the sunset and roasted smores. The property was clean, well-furnished, and was an absolute paradise!

We enjoyed a stormy day, watching the water, and the yard was wonderfully secure for the girls. We feel so fortunate to have found a space to welcome the whole family safely. There is a bit traffic noise during the day from the highway for those of us sensitive to such things, but the views, charming and well apportioned home, friendly Hoodsport, and great management make it more than worthwhile.

Wish we could have stayed longer. We had all sorts of weather, but still enjoyed the fire pit through it all! The stars shone so brightly at night. We all want to come back in the summer when Hoodsport must be a hopping little town! Thank you for having us.

Beautiful home
We were two couples staying here in late September for a long weekend. We loved having the main house and the small guest house - perfect, especially in these times of COVID. Both houses were very comfortable and clean with a well stocked kitchen. We were in the guest house which is a small bedroom with a 3/4 bathroom- perfect for us. Loved being right on the water.They have these nice rock carved steps going into the water - loved it and perfect for getting in and out for a swim! The only two things - based on the comments we thought there were kayaks for use but there weren’t (honestly maybe our mistake bc I’m not sure that’s in the listing), and during the day there is quite a bit of traffic noise. But - being right on the water, seeing porpoises, herons, and seals all day, on this lovely piece of property outweighed the noise for me. But if you really want something quiet, this may not be the place for you.

Beachfront Beauty!
What a wonderful way to decompress! Wake to seals swimming by and seagulls barking at you while sipping coffee on the glorious deck! Enjoy pink skies at dust and then enjoy superior star ⭐️ gazing at night. Thank you for sharing this home with us!

We had an amazing time, the view is stunning and the private beach and big yard make really easy to social distance!
The house is spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to cook.
Only one thing to consider. The house is on a busy street and the noise of the cars needs to be taken into consideration.
