Ilios Malia Hotel Resort

Its location at the top of the strip 5 min walk from old Town, 12 min beach & 2 min to a big supermarket. Pool area was lovey with two big pools. Day bar staff were so nice a lady from UK. So friendly. Contrary to other reviews, the WiFi was free as was the air con & nothing was stolen. Rooms was fairly clean too. I got high pressure hot water every day when I wanted it. If you go in middle of September many of the bars & clubs have shut for season & it’s quiet. This suited me. However, the Old Town was still busy and at times you had to book. If you want a traditional Greek food & a better location/atmosphere do here. I found prices very reasonable overall for food, beer & wine. In old town 2 courses & two wines €30-35. Main strip a bit cheaper €25-30. Although the resort was dead beach was very busy & packed dinners costing €7 a day. If you eat early & go to sit down takeaways you could get fed for €12-15

WiFI very limited in my room and not great by the pool. My 5G was better but it didn’t work in the room.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and had a wonderful experience. The location is right next to Malia's famous nightlife strip, but despite its central position, our room was exceptionally quiet and we were not disturbed by any noise at all. Pros: Location: Excellent position within walking distance of the nightlife, beautiful old town, local beach, and plenty of great restaurants. Rooms: Very clean and spacious. While the decor isn't super modern, it is definitely comfortable and neat. The bathroom was very large, equipped with a bathtub. Food & Dining: The restaurant menu leans towards snacks, but the quality was great. Although breakfast wasn't included in our original booking, we ended up eating here regularly because it was so good.

Minor Issue: Wi-Fi Connection: The internet signal was weak to non-existent inside our room. However, it worked perfectly in the shared areas such as the pool area. All in all, highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, central, and relaxed place to stay in Malia!

Staff was expectional. Maria is a beautiful person. She helped us a lot, from the check in to the check out and more over. We had a great time. Location is perfect in the city center. Two swimming pool in the middle of the hotel where you can relax and take sun. All the facilities were within two minutes from the hotel.

Da migliorare un po' la pulizia, inoltre di notte non c'era nessun controllo, i ragazzi rientravano ubriachi a qualsiasi ora e facevano un baccano tanto da svegliare tutti...e questo filo alle sei del mattino
