The Boathouse on Waukazoo! Beach, Bars, Brewery all within a block!
Incantevole dimora storica nel centro di Northport, costruita nel 1908. I nuovi proprietari sono in fase di aggiornamento e saranno pronti per i visitatori estivi. Vista sulla baia dalla veranda. A meno di un isolato dalla spiaggia pubblica, dal parco, dal porto turistico, dai bar, dai ristoranti e dal birrificio! Quattro camere da letto includono due al piano inferiore e due in alto. Jack e Jill al piano di sopra. Grande cucina completamente attrezzata. Lavatore e asciugatore. Smart TV con connessione wireless. Enorme lotto con un sacco di parcheggio. Veranda e patio laterale per godersi le notti estive.
Northport è sulla punta del mignolo ed è vicino a tutto ciò che la Contea di Leelanau ha da offrire, tra cui; visite in cantina e sidro, birrifici, Fish Town nel Leland, shopping a Suttons Bay, canottaggio e pesca nelle baie e nei laghi interni. Sentieri escursionistici portano a spiagge nascoste. Dieci minuti a nord è il Leelanau State Park e lo storico Grand Traverse Lighthouse.

Thank you for the welcoming wine and the excellent communication. Getting the key out of the lock box could be updated. Location is convenient to everything. Outside areas beautiful.

This was our third stay at the Boathouse on Waukazoo and per usual, we had a great time! The house is very well equipped with anything you may need while you’re there. The beds are comfy and the living room/dining area is great to hang out in as a family. We love to walk through downtown to visit the shops (and Barb’s Bakery!), and to walk to the park by the water. Looking forward to another repeat visit in the future. Thank you to the hosts for offering such a fantastic home to make memories in!

The location of the property is within close walking distance of everything, which we really enjoyed. The city of Northport is beautiful and authentic. There is a sense of community here. This is not a tourist trap and you will soon feel like a resident. In regards to the property, it needs some TLC in the areas of cleanliness and maintenance. Every corner and crevice of the house was covered in spider webs, the cabinet drawers were soiled with coffee grinds, the shower curtain on the main floor was covered in what appear to be pink mildew, the silverware and cups were soiled with food particles, some of the bedding was soiled with hair and what appeared to be bodily fluids, the sofa cushions were covered in what appeared to be cat hair. The washer was growing black mould. The interior and exterior of the home is in need of a fresh coat of paint, the deck boards on the front porch are splintered need to be cleaned and sealed, the grill needs to be cleaned and the outdoor furniture needs to be power washed. We really tried to look past some of this and enjoy the trip, but each day we would find something new. We did contact the owner and sent her pictures of our main concerns, and she did send out a cleaning person, which which helped some. My suggestion to make this place great, is a good deep cleaning, and some minor maintenance.
