We were there to celebrate our father/father in law/grandpa/great grandpa's life. It was a sad week, but the property helped make it less stressful. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. We did not get to explore the area but it was a perfect location for our itinerary.

Traveling with family, would have needed two hotel rooms for 1 or 2 nights. Staying in the townhouse was actually less money and we had more room.

Mike, We had a great time. we saw lots of friends, used the pool every day and went to the beach. I was going to call you to let you know some things that need to be fixed. We could not use the dishwsher because the LC light was on all the time because there was a leak in the dishwasher. The carpet in the master bedroom was gross and I would always need shoes even to get up to use the bathroom during the night. The glass shower doors are just hanging from the top but not attached so that is not safe. The grill was not fit to use. I think the house really need lots of TLC. If it gets that, I will rent it again.

We arrived on Sunday June 18 at 4:00pm to find the home as described but with some issues
The home is in need of a deep clean
The sinks were stained the master bathroom shower is stained the glass sliding doors in the master bath are very dirty and won’t stay on the track so you have to be careful taking a shower
The carpets are stained the rugs are dirty a good carpet cleaning might help and the rugs just need to be thrown away each season and start fresh
The beds have plastic mattress protectors on them that are yellowed and torn so they don’t stay in place
Again throw them away and start fresh each season with a washable water proof covering made from cotton would fit better and could be washed in between guests
There are missing towel racks in the home and missing drywall so it could be mistaken that the guests did the damage but it was already done
The master bedroom floor right near the door is collapsing or breaking so you have to be careful of that part of the floor
So it was late so we went to bed and got up in the morning to a home that was freezing and to a home with no hot water
So we contacted the owner and he called a company to come look at the water heater to see why it wasn’t making hot water
The complex was switching from propane gas to natural gas and I’m thinking since the switch no one was in the house
There is more to the story but they won’t let me tell the whole story
So we had to spend a second day letting in the A/C serviceman

The townhome in Bear Trap is comfortable (family of 5) and well stocked for an extended stay. The neighborhood is walkable and safe with lots of things to do- pools, playground, shuttles to the beach and golf. The neighbors are also quite friendly. Mike was responsive, kind and caring. Would highly recommend if vacationing in the area. Thank you, Mike!

My daughter was married in this town and we rented the house for traveling family to stay with us. We are all from PA. It was a nice weekend

Property was clean. Appliances were new and outdoor seating was wonderful. Mattresses were HORRIBLE- pack a mattress cushion if you can. Make sure you also bring a Bath mat to step out the shower.
Owner was a little slow to respond to questions which delayed our arrival. Note - you will get an email about 2 hours before check in with those details. We waited to depart (afraid to drive the two hours since we didn’t hear back from owner) for the place since none or our messages, calls or texts were responded to (owner was ill) until the day of the visit(90 min before check in).
Overall great location -would have been more star if I didn’t have to chase the owner for a response.

Everything was clean and all appliances were modern and functional. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and drains all worked well. We especially liked having a garage to store our bikes and golf clubs, etc. Kid enjoyed having the playground across the street. All neighbors seemed pretty friendly and the neighborhood was pretty quiet even on the busy Labor Day weekend. Bear trap golf, tennis and pool all great as always. The only negative thing we could say and it's a stretch is that there is no k-cup machine. Being able to have our pug with us was also nice. Overall I would say that the property fits in well with the country club setting. Thanks!

Great House and neighborhood
The house was perfect. It was plenty big enough for us. It was my wife and I, our two daughters and they each brought a friend.
Close enough to the beach for a short drive and a pool in the neighborhood.
A key for us, comfortable beds, and they are.
I think we used the screened in porch more then any other room.

Very pretty house.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this home. I'd like to leave a balanced review of what we liked, and what we could see as an improvement for future guests.
The positives:
The place was beautiful and clean. The appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and family TV) all seemed brand new and of very good quality, which we found very important. The bbq grill was in good working order with plenty of propane, and the inside furniture (couches, chairs, dining set), including the beds were very comfortable (which again is very important for us.) If you have a bad sleep, it doesn't matter the rest of the house.
The communication was very good between owner and us, as they responded to our text communication.
Would like to see improved:
The downstairs 1/2 bathroom toilet did not work, which the owner was made aware, prior to our stay. made it slightly inconvenient, but not terrible.
The outside porch chairs in front and back of the house were uncomfortable, although the chairs in the back deck and porch may just need better cushions. It made it less easy to sit outside.
The deck awning on the back deck needs to be replaced as it was tattered and dry, and would would shed material down on top of us, so we never opened it.
I'd like to say again, that we were happy at this house, and none of these issues made it a bad experience. I would take these issues over a poor quality house. These are just suggestions for a more happy overall experience.

Best place
This was the cleanest and most comfortable place we ever stayed, from 5 star hotels to roadside motels and other VRBO listings. Loved the quiet neighborhood and the ability to have our dog with us. A safe place to walk him was a real highlight. Thank you, Mike.

Super clean rental!
Very impressed with the cleanliness of this house - it was spotless! Met our needs perfectly for less money than similar rentals that we've stayed at. The host was very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Great Place near Bethany Beach
If you are a golfer, addicted to shopping in Rehoboth Beach or just want to chill like us this is the townhouse for you. Plenty of room for the fam. Plenty of creature comforts for all. Just a short distance from the main road. Would recommend. Would stay again.

Beautiful layout and quiet neighborhood. Close to several beaches and boardwalks with a lot of amazing food places. Property manager communicates very quickly with any questions. Our stay was with several days of rain, but the evenings was enjoyable near the fireplace. Highly recommend.

The property was as advertised, very clean and the owner very responsive to questions. Overall is great
If I were asked about some points to enhance visitor stay I would recommend couple.
First, very little lighting to help with anyone who enjoys reading a book. Only very high ceiling recessed lighting in living room. Only one lamp on night stand in all the bedrooms making it impossible to read before sleep without the bright fan light. Perhaps instruction sheet to help- with the TV setup Took a bit of trial and error to figure it out. Not deal breakers.
