In the middle of the small town. Great AC. Modern room. Comfortable beds and new bathroom.

Well kept, clean. We got a room with a balcony and a great view. Good breakfast. Owner was very friendly and provided great recommendations nearby

A beautifully designed hotel in the medieval walled city of Smartno, in the Goriska Brdo wine region. The rooms and apartments were outstanding, comfortable, and impressively decorated. The breakfast was a wonderful selection of local products and produce, and our host was welcoming and a joy to deal with. We were a large group that they accommodated very well, and we were incredibly impressed with the level of detail used to seamlessly blend the hotel into the medieval town. It is truly an outstanding place.

Great location and clean, cool room. Modern and comfortable.
Breakfast was pretty basic and didn't get replenished so if you were the last person there you got whatever was left. Nowhere to hang out outside the room, which meant our room was not cleaned o the second day as our excursion was not until 11am and we had nowhere to go whilst we waited and whilst room was cleaned. Could be clearer communication in advance about lack of food options in village on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
