Il cottage è situato nello Yorkshire Dales National Park, nel cuore delle famose Tre Cime Pen-y-Ghent, Ingleborough e Whernside, offrendo alcuni dei migliori paesi pedonali del Regno Unito. Accomodati alla ferrovia Carlisle che passa vicino ai cottage, la stazione dista solo 10 minuti a piedi. L'affascinante città di Settle, a 6 miglia di distanza e la pittoresca città di Dales, a Hawes, a 15 miglia di distanza. La zona è anche nota per il suo Pot Holing, con Alum Pot a 3 miglia. White Scar Caves e Ingleton Waterfalls sono un viaggio in auto. Il villaggio ha due case puibliche, The Crown e The Golden Lion, entrambe raggiungibili a piedi. La bellissima St. La chiesa di Oswald si trova all'estremità sud del villaggio e merita una visita

Its a lovely traditional country cottage with the backdrop of Penyghent that had all the essentials you need as if you were at home and right next door to a homely tearoom. Heather was a superb host to us. Ideal for you walkers and hikers of the Yorkshire 3 peaks. Would definitely use again!!

This property was great value for money and was very comfortable for the four of us. Its two showers came in very handy, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge was really comfortable. We did struggle with the TV so had to resort to talking to each other!!We used this as a base for doing the three peaks over three days so was ideally located. The view of Pen y Ghent through the dining room window was lovely. It was around 10 minutes walk to the Crown which had good beer and good food.

We loved every minute of our trip, the cottage was everything we could have asked for and more the views was amazing and the owners and locals was very helpful and easy to talk to. We will definitely be going back one day in the near future
