We stayed in A102 for a week late March and one word encapsulates the experience - transcendent. Waking up and falling asleep to the sound of waves cresting on the beach, with golden sunsets, mountains over the horizon, whales breaching the water and turtles on the beach. The rental condo was perfect for our first time in Maui, had all the amenities, kitchen, and even washer and dryer. It’s also just north of the busier tourist resort area, so welcome respite from the drive to Hana, Haleakala, or other parts of Maui. We look forward to visit again, Mahalo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are regulars to Maui’s west side. We usually stay at a condo complex a few doors down the road. Great location, complex is nice and clean (well maintained). A few things to make you aware of with the complex. Privacy and security are huge when traveling. 4 separate days during our stay some locals hopped the fence and spent the entire day fishing on the property. They set up camp in the picnic/bbq area and made themselves at home. Signs out front says private property? Which leads me to unit security. Several issues starting with bedroom window that has no lock in it only a wooden pole. Easy to get into window. The slider door on right needs repair. Takes several attempts to get it to lock all the way. Wooden pole again that is easy to navigate around. Dead bolt on door does not work. The frame and deadbolt not in alignment. In the bathroom the shower doors are a mess. One swings freely as it is only attached at top while other door is very difficult to slide. For a few thousand dollars of improvements, this could be a great rental unit. We enjoyed our stay but the upkeep has been seriously lacking. Aloha!
