Location for what we wanted to be near the theatre

Some bits were tatty really especially the stairs going to rooms. Inside rooms was also tatty bits that had been what seemed to be “temp” fixes

Location just off main high street. Good sized room. Good breakfast next door in brasserie.

Entry is via key safe and code -no reception. The date box is a bit tricky to operate as its door has dropped. The room was fine but it and the building just felt a bit dated and tatty with peeling paint especially in bathroom which could do with an overhaul. The bath was very high to get in and out for the shower. No safety rails. No extractor working. Bed could do with updating.

Comfortable bed and good location.

You have to shower in the bath. It is not "hiker friendly, as we had to carry our bags up 2 floors on narrow winding stairs, and breakfast service does not start until 8:30am.

The room was clean and comfortable

We had trouble accessing the key safe and were eventually helped to get in by an employee at the neighbouring Indian take away who said he’d had to help others before. Luckily we are fairly agile for our age but would like to have been warned about the narrow flights of stairs and uneven passage ways to get to our room. A couple of times access to the narrow hallway was nearly completely blocked by other guests luggage which had been dropped off making any emergency evacuation very hazardous. We waited nearly an hour at our table for our breakfast and it seemed that the staff were overstretched. Others at another table had to delay their taxi pick up as they too had waited so long for their breakfast.
