Una grande casa moderna offre splendide viste sui paddock e sulla campagna circostante con cavalli e animali selvatici in giro.
Questa vacanza in campagna unica offre un soggiorno esclusivo perfetto per un gruppo di amici per una celebrazione e per le famiglie in cerca di un rifugio con i bambini e gli animali domestici che sono anche invitati a rimanere. La sistemazione flessibile è disponibile su due piani con una combinazione di letti gemelli e matrimoniali più una grande camera in stile dormitorio per famiglie nella parte superiore.
I proprietari vi danno il benvenuto per incontrare i loro simpatici cavalli e godersi la comunità del cortile stabile che rende questa sistemazione così molto diversa con il cortile della stalla funzionante di fronte alla proprietà all'interno della proprietà. Se sei interessato a indossare il cappello da equitazione e cerchi di divertirti a fare un trucco in una scuola vicina, ti preghiamo di chiederci maggiori dettagli. Ten of us enjoyed a really lovely 3 night stay at The Homestead. Overall, the property was pretty much perfect for our needs; very spacious living/dining/ kitchen areas and enough bedrooms that those wishing to have their own rooms were able to whilst those of us happy to share were in spacious, comfortable rooms. The property is in a wonderfully peaceful location and it was lovely watching the horses being led out to the paddocks or for their exercise in the mornings.
Just a couple of things to mention; a lot of the wardrobes were locked and whilst I understand the house is a family home and things need to be stored, in our room, which I took to be the master, we had no usable wardrobes or drawers. Some coat hooks were provided but for three women, these were not really adequate.
Also, the outside furniture could do with updating. The long wooden bench was unusable due to the warping and general poor condition. A dedicated seating area in a sunny spot would be lovely as the patio does not get the afternoon sun.
However, these issues in no way distracted from a fantastic weekend and we would be happy to return.

My stay at The Homestead was amazing. The house was bigger and brighter than expected - all guests that arrived said the pictures do not do it justice. The place was well-equipped and the beds were very surprisingly comfortable. The location was beautiful and in a scenic area. I enjoyed a few cups of tea in the morning sun and at night looking up at the many stars. With the lovely weather we felt like we were further away from our homes in London 1-2 hours away. We went for a group walk to really take it in!
Check-in was very quick with the host just requiring a call when we were on the way and letting us get settled within 2 mins of meeting us. Although this was lovely at the time, it became my only gripe as we were unaware of the check-out process and considerable clean-up expectations (in comparison to other staycation homes and hotels) which could have been explained at check-in. Overall a VERY pleasant experience and I would highly recommend The Homestead for any groups seeking a private, tranquil getaway. Just beautiful

We had a great stay, we were a large party ageing 62 to 7 and we all had plenty of room and beds, which were all very comfy
