This hostel was really cute! The staff was so friendly, they helped me a lot and I liked the nice old building so much. Cozy common areas, like a living room, a roofed outdoor area, a kitchen.. everything colourful and cozy and with carpets and couches everywhere.. I stayed in a 10 bed dorm but it was huge so the beds were not too close to each other and I liked that mine had a little curtain for privacy (anyway there was only one other guest with me in the room that night). The toilets and showers are outdoors but clean and good hot water. I had only one night there but I would have happily stayed longer!

They were super nice so that I was really sad that I had such limited time in Tintagel! They even have a piano for everyone to play, a TV room with Netflix, a great kitchen and outdoor as well as indoor showers. The beds were super comfortable and I slept like I was dead.

The place is amazing with beautiful people. Great location… I want to come back. Thanks a lot ;)

Great staff, the shower are nice and the beds are awesome, didn’t even want to get up in the morning.

John was very friendly & helpful & gave us some good recommendations for eating in the town & beautiful coastal walks. Excellent location of hostel

Unfortunately there were either staff or other guests speaking loudly & playing music in the outdoor area which was very noisy & disruptive to our room & sleep at night. There was also a green light overhead in our room that was very distracting for sleeping.

Fantastic hostel. Amazing staff. Amazing location. Clean. Welcoming. And great value for money.

I didn’t find the bed very comfortable. We all have preferences.

It felt like a family, nice people and great host! The shared kitchen was well equipped and even lots of common food we could use for cooking.

The green exit light in the dorm was directly over the bed.

John the host is so friendly and helpful and made me feel at home straight away. He also had great recommendations around the local area and for my further traveling. I would go back and stay there again without a hesitation.

It was great, the landlord was very welcoming and shared a lot of nearby hiking trails with me. The best landlord I have ever stayed with in a youth hostel? It left me with very good memories of my trip.

All the basics worked. Excellent food/shops and cracking scenery all a minute's walk away. Helpful and welcoming owner.

COLD ! Had to sleep in jumpers and wooly hats coats on top The quilt was too thin, heating insufficient, bathroom no heating at all ! We were on a walking holiday in the winter.

Perfect location for walking and exploring the local area.
