The owners certainly did an excellent job renovating the property. Bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was beautiful, and the living room and outdoor living space were wonderful. We were disappointed the gas fireplace wasn’t operational given it was listed on the amenity list and it is winter. We were told the fireplace was not functional and needed repairs. Having a fireplace in the winter was one of the reasons we booked the property. Also, the kitchen had sparse cookware, uncharacteristic of the high-end appliances they outfit with the kitchen. Overall, we enjoyed our time.

I’ve vacationed in Kiawah for about 10 years. This is my second year at this apartment. It is beautiful and the location is very close to the market, beach and right on the river (nice for fishing and kayaking). You will Definitely get to take advantage of a variety of things to do during your stay. But, this year there were several ants that decided to stay with us in the apartment. I understand that bugs can get in and out, but when you start to see several in a week, in multiple rooms and in the garbage l, exterminators are your best friends. I contacted the renters service for help and they said they would look into it but nothing was done to control the ants during the week I was there. It’s too bad, this was our second year at this location and now because of the ant issue my family doesn’t want to stay here again.

My family of 4 had a great stay! The house is immaculate and has a dream kitchen. The screened in porch overlooking the water was our favorite spot! Public beach access is about a 2 min drive, 15 min walk with a daily charge. Easy communication with the property manager made everything a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family was very comfortable in this home, we found the kitchen well supplied with eating at home needs. The beds were comfortable and all was tidy. We spent a lot of time on the screened in patio, which gave a spectacular sunset view and you can see the effects of the tide at high and low. We walked to the beach most days, and used the nearby pool as well. An excellent stay!

We like to bike, kayak and watch the river and wetlands when visiting Kiawah. This property worked great for us. It is right beside the pool and kayak launch dock.

Great place, beautiful, perfectly equipped, awesome location by the pool and dock, easy access to bike trails and the beach. Kids loved it and could play and ride bikes outside.

This was our first trip to Kiawah, and it was perfect! When we got there I was extremely frazzled, and couldn’t find the door code, but Bridget answered my call and immediately got us in! This home is absolutely beautiful, more than we expected!

Perfect location on the Kiawah River. Amazing sunsets every evening! Next to pool which was a major convenience and not the least bit disruptive. Kitchen was well appointed and furniture comfortable. Awesome screened in porch...great for chillin'. Not too far from the beach. A great experience!

This cottage is top-notch. The reno is superb and location is to die for. Right next to the pool so great if you have little ones. The sunsets over the Kiawah River are unlike anything you will see elsewhere. One small thing -- guests have been rough on this gem of a home. The cleaning crew needs to do a deep clean with so many people in and out. We still had sand on the floors and bed linens when we checked in. Emailed the management team and they sent someone the next day to clean the floors again. Otherwise really great property -- we rented kayaks and were able to paddle around the river.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is equipped with beautiful appliances, comfortable beds. Short bike ride to beach and wonderful pool. We loved the view from the screened in porch. My only complain is that the listing states three bedrooms and there is only two. I believe they are counting the outdoor shower as a bathroom.

We loved this well appointed, beautifully remodeled Inlet Cove home. Sunsets viewed from the porch and outdoor space were spectacular. Easy access to the dock for fishing. The community pool had all new furniture. My only suggestion would be to replace the dishwasher with a larger model. Dinner dishes plus pots and pans for six people would not fit in the drawer-type dishwasher. Other than that, the house was perfect.

Perfect location next to the community pool. The sunset from the sunroof every night was spectacular. The house was clean and perfect for our family with very young kids. Only very very very minor complaint was the power in the master shower was weak but the one in the guest bathroom was fantastic.

Perfect place to find some peace
This property should allow anyone to relax, reflect, and enjoy the natural beauty that Kiawah offers. The sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. The property was just lovely -it has all the amenities that a family could want in a calming and peaceful setting. I would absolutely return if I am lucky enough.

We were grateful that we didn't have to deal with traffic on the island because we were so close to the entrance/exit. Very close to Beachwalker Park for those who want to attempt to go to the estuary. Found tons of sand dollars and conch shells. Also, excellent communication prior to arrival.

The house has very upscale finishes but is showing its age a little bit. House was disappointingly dirty, from mold in the shower/kitchen/washer to FILTHY floors with loose black debris in multiple rooms, There was a dirty sock in the front window when we checked in. At this price point, I’d expect it to be a bit better in the cleanliness department. With a deep clean and some caulking, it will be restored to its former glory! It really is a great layout and space.

We have stayed in several properties on Kiawah for the past 10 years. Our kids grew up here. By far the size of the property and the amenities it offers exceeded our expectations. It’s location allows access to the beach, private pool and the river right from your back porch. A little of everything for your mood. The property owner was easy to reach and very hospitable. We will come back to this property. It is on our “yes” list.

Our family stayed at this property for 2 weeks in July. We were so happy with the location and the small community. It is so convenient to be next to the pool and the dock, and the sunsets are as described: absolutely beautiful. Bridget was incredibly responsive, as is ESPM (I think they are the property manager), and the house was renovated in such a nice way - great details and design, and high-end appliances. The electronic door lock's battery died on our second day (a Sunday), but ESPM made itself available to get a key to us and they came out on Monday to change the battery, so all was well.
There are some issues with this home that need to be addressed to get a 5-star review, including:
1. None of the doors close - NONE OF THEM! I can't imagine that one could blame it all on humidity and expanding wood. This is not great for privacy.
2. It definitely feels like a busy rental. Fixtures are falling off of the walls (master bath toilet paper holder and shower handle), and there are holes in the walls where a doorstop should be placed to stop the door handle from slamming into it.
3. I recognize that a cleaning crew only has so much time to turn a place over, but they could do a better job. When we arrived, the couch was pretty dirty (luckily there is a vacum there so I did that cleaning myself), and there was a ton of 'stuff', including dirt, under the furniture both inside the house and on the screened in porch. Also, inside the drawers and cabinets in the bathrooms and kitchen are pretty dirty. Basically it could all use a good clean.
4. This will sound silly, but on both of the king beds the fitted sheets never fit. I don't know if it was the quality/age of the sheets or the size was off as compared to the mattress, but every night when we slept the fitted sheet would slip off of the mattress - and we were not comfortable with that in a rental. It grossed us out. Bridget was responsive and when I asked for the management company to bring a new fitted sheet, they arrived the next day to change it, but the same issue remained.
All in all we did have a great stay and definitely will return to Kiawah....
