Beautiful farm, perfect for walks and time in nature. Many birds, a mini island in the middle of the pond surrounded by reeds and trees, an ideal spot for bird watchers.

The owners, personal touch and incredible scenery were just what I needed for a little down to earth, back to nature getaway … plus I could bring my pooches who were welcomed just as warmly.
Nothing, for a “rustic”, chilled and welcoming, private location it was perfect.

I love the energy of this place- instant country relaxation in an unspoilt environment. Martin was always around to make us feel extra-comfortable and add a personal touch. We slept in a dorm and the beds were very comfy. There was a stoep to sit on and a fire was lit at night to keep us warm. The kitchen had all we needed for a morning coffee. Very low key, authentic, no fuss environment- perfect to drop all your modcons, marvel at the many birds and get back in touch with yourself and the world..
I am not fuzzy- so I did not mind to share a bathroom plus there are plenty more in another outside building but warm water for the shower on departure day would have been nice

Accommodation rustic but adequate. Gardens beautiful
Accommodation lacking maintenance - more attention to detail would be good. No hot water
