Palm Garden Resort & Ayurveda

Firstly I was surprised because I didn't expect such a beautiful property in Ahangama, next as we arrived we were offered complimentary welcome drinks by Judit she is the manager here and explained every small detail about the property, she also told us about all the attractions that we can cover near Ahangama. The property has a really nice pool in the middle of the rooms and also has spa and herbal bath facilities and truly reciprocates with the name of the property Palm Garden Resort and Ayurveda Also the guy at the reception Shehan helped us with the details of where to have good food nearby and helped us in arranging a tuk tuk as well. We had a short stay here and would like to come back whenever I visit Sri Lanka. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Ahangama.

Just one thing , there is no one at the reception at night time from 10 pm to 8 am, though there is a whatsapp group which they provide and you can ask for any query or help, but someone should be there to address at the reception in person if there's any emergency during night time

Very quiet and relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The pool area was nice to lounge by during the day. Great location, far enough away from the hustle of the town but close enough that you can walk to the beach/some amenities. Staff were accommodating and friendly.

Allora a parte un disguido iniziale dove volevano che pagassi moooolto di più rispetto al prezzo concordato su booking, tutto ok. La manager molto attenta ai nostri bisogni. Struttura degna di nota

The hotel is very clean and nice, the food is good.

I came fror the treatments and yoga, the yoga wasn't available because the Teacher is sick. Which is fine but then as a Hotel you have the responsibility to find a substitude. The Doctor was absolutely not empathetic and her approach was to keep me for three weeks and give me medicine, instead of ayurvedic Treatments or suggestions on a proper treatment. I spent 30$ on a consultation that made me feel more uneasy than before and with more questions and no one to answer, for the treatment they charged me 100$ for a lady (that was super nice) but not staff and massage was not really pleasant. so both reasons I came for were unfortunately a disappointment. Don't promote it as an Ayurvedic Resort, when the first thing the Doctor gives you anxiety about poor health and medicine right away.
