The accommodation was beautifully situated and arranged. The facilities are varied and imaginative. The staff were exceptionally warm, friendly and helpful.

the staff is very accommodating and friendly most especially the lifeguard Junnrre who went above and beyond expectations.
room needs updated and there’s no phone . Resort shuttle takes awhile when requested.

Just come and enjoy this magical place. You will stay in some kind of natural attraction park, with so many animals around (not like a zoo, but rather a big family who loves and takes care of friendly birds, horses, carabaos, and so on).
I personally enjoyed feeding all the animals, such as birds, horses, and goats :)
I was personally worried about some rooms not having a fridge and the restaurant closing at 9pm… but it's not an issue because the staff can provide ice boxes. Also, there are many water tanks around with cold water 24/24, and you can easily order additional food or any drink/wine/cocktails to your room for your evening.
All the place is just so modern and perfectly maintained. The pool, the breakfast, and all amenities are just perfect too.
There are so many staff here who are on duty to make you enjoy your stay. For any concerns, just ask and somebody helpful will be ready to help.
Special thanks to Nina, the most professional manager we have ever met in all of our travels in Asia. She works all day around the resort to ensure the full satisfaction of all the guests. Big respect for someone so valuable.
It's sure our family with kid will miss this unique place. So, if you travel around Davao, don't fail to visit Malagos Garden Resort; you will never forget it.

The food is great and value for money. the staff were very accommodating. there's a lot of activities that children can enjoy whilst I'm working :)

Malagos Garden Resort is a family friendly place to connect and appreciate nature. The activities and food are excellent. The villa that we stayed in is very comfortable and had a relaxing ambiance. The staff particular the female security staff helped us a lot and also the female staff manager was very accommodating.
Had some problems upon checkout because the card machine had some issues. I suggested if I can settle my bills the day before the checkout but the reception staff refused and said to settle the bill for the day tour and buffet upon checkout. Unfortunately, the card machine was not working.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, especially the general manager. The facilities / resort grounds were also super interesting and nice to explore
They forgot to fill our water dispenser before our stay, but it wasn't a big deal.

Located on the same property as the Chocolate Factory so doing the tour and resting in the rooms are convenient. We booked the economy room which was quite basic. Better to book the other rooms. The staff were very good and took care of us well.

Beautiful architecture and ambiance, close to nature, friendly accomodating staff, cleanliness and orderliness, good food.
No breakfast buffet during our stay.

The facilities of the resort are great. Chocolate museum, butterfly houses, restaurants. The villas are nice and our room was great.
We had to call housekeeping twice about the shower and in the end it was still low water pressure and barely warm. No hot water in the sink which blocked immediately.

Malagos Garden Resort truly maintains, even got better, its legacy and beautiful resort. It represents the authentic Davao hospitality. My booking, pre-arrival communications, stay, and overall experience were EXCELLENT! Shout out to Nina who is so hospitable, professional, and pleasing to communicate with. Indeed Malagos Garden Resort is a true gem and pride of Davao!

Staff were very friendly. Garden was well maintained. Fishes , birds, goats, horses and ducks kept us entertained. A very friendly staff/butler in the villa to assist us to setup and cleanup for dinner.
Some minor maintenance needed for the villa to fix falling towel rail in the bathroom and broken aircon in dining room.

Love their food and the staff are so courteous and helpful esp the manager Ms Nina Eva. Despite a small mishap, she goes her extra mile to see to it that we will get the best time. Personally giving us a tour and providing us shuttle rides when available. My mom was so elated with the surprise they have for her bday. Thank you so much for giving her a birthday to remember.
Only one thing... Their hot and cold shower. In our room, it didn't function thus we transferred to another one. On the second room, it only functioned a bit. After which, it did not.

The location is beautiful and quiet. Staff was very attentive and helpful, always motivated to improve our experience, even the jacuzzi was prepared on our arrival. The room was clean and spacious.
The communication to book an airport pickup was exhausting, as we did not get a clear confirmation until the very last day. Price for airport pickup was also very steep. The resort is a long drive from the airport but its still way overcharged.
The room was surprisingly mosquito-free for the location and very nice and spacious, the shower seemed a bit basic and out of place in comparison with the rest of the room. I somewhat expected to have a mosquito net in the room, but surprisingly there was none. We were cautious and slept with insect spray applied.
Facilities are clean, but some of the on location museums are not well looked after.

The Staff are friendly and accommodating, they are all nice. they have bird shows and museums and chocolate factory and more. It is only good for day tour.
The Staff is very accommodating, but the property needs a huge improvements in almost everything, the room they gave us the first time was a two single(double bed) joined together, there is no hot water, and we were asked to use the heater to put in a bucket if we wanted hot shower, I requested to be moved to a different room, the manager was so helpful, on out second room, the bathroom does not have a toilet seat and water pressure is not good, the bathroom is also dirty, I just think that they need to improve their facilities especially the bathroom. the AC is not that strong for that size of a room. and the shuttle service is only available until 9pm, so you have to walk to your Villa, in a rough unpaved road from the main entrance. The Security guards are nice and helpful. but hopefully they provided like a small buggy during night time.

Nina the manager was brilliant and all her staff did a fantastic job. The pizza in the Koi Cafe is just as good as if was from Italy. Great being among nature and the cacao farm, the chocolate factory is very interesting too.
Accommodation and the zoo needs upgrading. Try not to pre order food as comes out cold and pre cooked.
