Tranquility villa is right on the beach and it is a great beach. Splash restaurant on site of the resort has good food. There full kitchen to use and grocery stores not far away. The screened patio is great as it is facing east so sun in the morning but then all afternoon and evening in the shade to relax with a wonderful view of the bay.

Had an absolutely amazing time with my parents. The villa is right on the water, views are amazing and tranquility is more than in the name! For a week we relaxed on the beach and enjoyed everything the island has to offer.
Christine is a fantastic host, always checking in to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. The villa was just as shown and listed, and had everything we needed to recharge our proverbial ‘batteries’ for the year to come. Couldn’t have had a more amazing relaxing vacation.

From the booking to the communications with Christine everything was perfect. Loved the location being close to Georgetown and a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Jolly Hall. We really liked Tranquility and it’s great sunrises! Christine was alway quick to respond with any questions and with great tips on beaches and places to eat. Lookjng forward to coming back!!

Christine is a wonderful hostess. Everything was as described. There were no surprises. The home and location were just perfect. The island's beaches are so beautiful. This is just the place to visit for Total relaxation. Thank you Christine for making our visit so special. We look forward to booking with you again next spring

We stayed at Villa Tranquility for over two weeks. The villa was perfect for the three of us, it felt like a home away from home. We cooked simple meals every day, the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the screened porch. It was too hot to eat outside, but it was super convenient to keep our swim and sailing stuff there. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit, especially for a long stay like ours. Villa Tranquility is an end unit, so it has tons of windows.
Our communication with Christine was great from the time we booked (and made changes a few times) to the checkout. On our second day we had an issue with a toilet, Christine got it replaced the same day! We were super impressed; we have rental properties and to get something done this fast is challenging even in the US.
The location of the villa couldn’t be any better, it’s very central on the island, and a 5 minute drive from a grocery store. Being part of the Hideaway resort complex was also nice, we used some of their amenities, like a free shuttle to Georgetown.
The beach in front of the villa has pretty good snorkeling, especially for beginners and kids. For swimming and relaxing we liked Jolly Hall, a beautiful beach just a short walk from the villa. We rented a small catamaran (from the Out Island Explorers – 5min walk on the beach south of the villa) for the most of our stay and had a blast exploring the harbor. Our favorite spot to visit was Hoopers Bay, swimming with turtles was magical,

We had the best time at this property! The location was spectacular. Not just on the beach but a great location on the island. The owners were extremely helpful and stayed in communication with us! We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Tranquility and can’t wait to go back! The location is perfect and the included amenities that the property has are great! We had so much fun kayaking in the morning and beach hopping with our son all day. Christine was extremely welcoming and gave so many helpful recommendations and spots to visit. Christine was very responsive and easy to get ahold of leading up to the trip and the entire time we were there. We really loved our time in Exuma and will definitely be back!

My husband and I stayed in the Tranquility villa during our 1st trip to Exuma. We were overall very pleased with the villa itself, the location, and communication from Christine. Christine helped me with every detail of our trip, from assisting with transportation, to places to visit, where to shop, where to eat, what to pack.. everything. We missed having a grill (used to be there but was damaged or broken right before we arrived). Opening the front door and being right there at the beach was incredible. Thank you Christine for hosting us, we are already planning our next visit!

Loved our stay! The property was just as described with an excellent view of the water and we really enjoyed the patio in the evenings and listening to the waves.
The beds were comfy and the place was spotless. The host was so helpful and made lots of great suggestions for beaches to visit and places to eat.
The location was perfect. We had a rental car so we were able to venture all around the island from the property which was very central. Many great beaches just a short drive away. Will definitely be staying there again!!

We can’t say enough positive about our stay tranquility; Christine was an amazing host, she knew so much about Exuma and she was so gracious to us, helping us with insights about this beautiful island. Her property, Tranquility, was clean and had all we needed. It is right on the beach and every picture posted is accurate, although it’s more beautiful when you get there. We spent every morning and evening on the screen porch. It was really hard to leave!! We thought that being close to Hideaways was an advantage, but we also really liked having our own villa. Again, Christine is knowledgeable about all things Exuma and she made our vacation easy!

We could not have imagined how perfect our vacation was going to be. The villa was clean and comfortable. It even allowed the option of our son and his girlfriend to come our last week, as there is a murphy bed in the living room. Two bathrooms were wonderful! You couldn't ask for a better location, being central in the island. Renting a car was fun; however, a free shuttle is offered to Georgetown if you don't want to drive. Amenities on the property are top notch with a pool, floaties, kayaks, paddle boards...all included in your price!
Christine and Bob are the kindest people you will ever meet. If they aren't in town as your host, Hideaway's management take extremely good care of you.
We are booked for next year and are already counting down the days!

The location is perfect to relax. The resort around this unit has a bar/restaurant and pool. A 5 star quiet beach just a few min walk from the place. The unit is nice.

This was our first time in Exuma and loved it. Could not ask for a better location and enjoyed watching the sun rise each morning. The villa had all we needed and wanted, including the beach and fabulous water just steps away. We also enjoyed walking on the beach with a couple beautiful, friendly, local dogs. We would love to return - strongly recommend!

Tranquility is in a great location and Christine, the owner, is extremely helpful and full of information about this beautiful island. She is wonderful to communicate any information needed and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Tranquility is located within the Hideaways Resort. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and two full bathrooms. We rented a car for our trip and explored several beaches. We feel renting a vehicle is necessary when visiting Exuma regardless of where we are staying because we like to see the island. Tranquility Villa is right on the beach and we enjoyed breakfast overlooking the ocean and watching the sunrise from the screened-in porch. During one of our morning swims outside the Villa, we saw two dolphins swimming near us!

It was just what we needed for an addition to our Nassau trip. We wanted to explore one of the outer islands and chose Exuma. We went for two days and it was all we needed. What we didn’t know was that it is off season(we were there 9/1-9/3) so not much to do in the evening after a day at the beach. Several eateries were closed for the season so we ended up at the resort restaurants- Grand Isle, Peace and Plenty, and Hideaways. Other popular places that were open closed at 5:30/6 pm, so we missed after getting changed from our beach day. We booked a sunset cruise, which we chose to wait to do in Exuma instead of Nassau but it was canceled. None which had anything to do with Tranquility. All in all Tranquility was all we needed— clean, peaceful, and right on the water. We had some dolphin sightings and a turtle too. At night we could see plenty of stars and Saturn!! The staff were very polite and helpful. For a 2-day excursion it was sweet and simple, and to quote our host, “an adventure”!

We had a fabulous stay in Exuma and in this unit. This unit was a perfect set up for a small family...nicely stocked kitchen, separate bedroom and living with a murphy bed, along with two full bathrooms. The unit was clean and was directly on the beachfront. The unit is located within Hideaways which was very convenient to have the pool and restaurant on site. The location of the unit was ideal, set in the middle of the island near Georgetown. We were able to easily navigate the entire island and were able to access many restaurants within a short drive. I would absolutely recommend a stay here and hope to return again.

The location of the property is excellent. You do need a car to get from airport and to go into the area that have stores. However, the property is affiliated with the Hideaway resort and there’s a free shuttle into the area with the shops.
As I mentioned, the property is affiliated with the resort and that gives you access to the pool and other amenities.
The house is steps from the beach and the view is heavenly.
Exuma exceeded our expectations. Everyone was friendly and lots to do. We will return

Perfect location
This was our first time visiting Exuma. The host was so helpful and even provided a guide to get us all settled in. Perfect central location for first timers who want to explore. We can’t wait to return.

This villa is on the Hideaways Resort. Christine Moore ( owner) is a dream to work with. Safety, Beach, and restaurant access are important to me, and Tranquility had them all. I love this villa. Highly recommend.
