We were two families with 2 small kids each. The house and facilities was perfect for this. The pool was amazing, and the beach and promenade was only 2 minutes by foot away. We loved everything about this place…

It was perfect, spotless and authentic, close to beach and restaurants and a 10 min taxi ride to Lagos.

Clean, spacious, and well-equipped villa. Great pool, quiet location, and a very friendly, responsive host.

This really is a charming villa. It is like staying at your grandmother's, if you had a Portuguese grandma. It is huge and perfect for families, with a 'kids room' with 3 beds and 2 additional bedrooms. It also has 3 full bathrooms including a tub, which is hard to find.
The location is also amazing. In one direction it is a short walk from the beach and main strip of restaurants and shopping, while in the other you reach a path to climb to the top of the cliffs for a spectacular view. We didn't use our rental car once during our 3-night stay. There was nothing we needed that we couldn't walk to and the beach is beautiful.
There is a housekeeper who cleans during the day. It does feel special to come back from the beach to a clean house with perfectly made beds!
The helpful guidebook to the property could be improved by being streamlined and updated.
