The house was very clean at arrival but the daily cleaning might be improved. There is only a quite overwhelmed person working on cleaning and setting up the apartments for new guests, house (which is very big) was only partially cleaned on a daily basis

The building is new, the design is modern, the decor is tasteful and the Villa is spotless. The shutters and aircon were brilliant in this summer heat. There was plenty of room for a family of 4 and the basement was nice and cool. The option of twin beds would have been welcomed but we used the sofa bed. The view from both balconies was to die for and Monos is a friendly host! We were welcomed in person with a huge bowl of fruit, water, wine and olive oil. It is a small walk away from the bustling, pretty Lixouri square and harbour. We really enjoyed our stay.

I had expected a private pool but it was shared between 3 villas which was slightly disappointing but still lovely. On closer examination, the booking didn’t say Private or shared, I could have checked beforehand to be sure before booking but assumed wrongly from the photographs the Villa that we had been given.

One of the best villas we have ever stayed at. Everything is absolutely perfect from the lovely pool to the view from the terrace to the modern and well equipped kitchen and bedrooms. The hosts are super helpful and welcoming and helped us have a fantastic stay in Kefalonia. Loved being able to walk into the town for dinner / lunch and our son loved the quick ferry across the bay to Argostoli. Lots of beautiful beaches and places to visit very close too. Cannot recommend Ionian Village more!!!

Lovely location with incredible views. Apartment was beautiful with a lovely outdoor space and pool. We loved be able to use the communal pool and our own pool. The patio was great with comfortable seats and lots of space. Area was quiet but not far to walk down to local restaurants in the town. Manos was so helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had a lovely and special stay with some lovely personal touches. The cleaner was also great and came in every day whenever was convenient for us. Overall we would highly recommend staying here

Only adequate for 2 adults and 2 children. Many health and safety concerns including both sets of stairs. Basment Bedroom. Under the flight path. Only 4 Hangers in each of the 2 wardrobes. String on Stairs very dangerous.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and modern, lovely view. Short walk to supermarket and the square at Lixouri which has a lovely vibe at night, with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and a cocktail bar. Short drive to Xi beach and the beach next to it Megas Lakkos, which we liked the best on the whole island, with its calm, clear water and red sand. Lixouri is also a nice 20 minute ferry ride to the capital Argostoli. Kefalonia is a beautiful place and you can’t go wrong staying here.

Wonderful view, great accommodation, just worth the money

Wow! We returned from a two week stay at Ionian Village (July-August 2022). Before we arrived we received friendly and prompt responses. On arrival, we were greeted by lovely Manos who welcomed us and showed us around the property. The villa itself was boutique-style with a wonderful view that took your breath away. Bed linen was high quality, pool towels were provided and the property was kept to a high standard. Bins were emptied daily, and the kind cleaner was always busy on site. The communal pool was cleaned before 9am daily and was well equipped with high quality sun beds and bean bags - enough to share between the three villas. The shared gas BBQ was an added bonus. We enjoyed cooking vegan burgers (purchased at our local store), and Manos replenished the gas within minutes of us alerting him to it having run out. The Sclavos vineyard was just a mile away and we highly recommend the wine tasting for a special occasion or treat (€12 per person). A Greek friend of ours says it’s some of the best to come out of Greece. The local beach, Lepeda, was less than ten minutes away by car and we never got bored of visiting here. Make sure to try the unassuming beach bar, it was some of the best food we had on the trip. For a slightly more organised beach trip Petani comes top of our list. There are sunbeds (€12 for two) and friendly restaurant staff who offer a drinks service to you at the sunbeds. Erasmias boasts possibly the best grilled vegetables with balsamic glaze in Kefalonia. The location of this wonderful property is perhaps what we would recommend most highly. Previously we stayed in Lassi, and reviews of Lixouri indicated that Lixouri might be more sleepy, but in fact it exceeded our expectations. It was a simple 10-minute walk into town where the port offered restaurants, bars, shops and the car ferry to Argostoli (€3 euros each). Our favourite traditional restaurant was Akrogiali, Alvi for modern Mediterranean and I Scream for heaven sent ice-cream.

We spent 7 days at Lepeda Villa in August 2022. The villa was fantastic, it was clean, modern, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The property Manager, Manos was so helpful and accommodating from the initial booking, checking in and during our stay. Manos and all of his staff were fantastic. We would highly recommend the villa, and thank Manos for all his help during our stay.

The manager, Manos was super helpful. He texted us all the details until we arrived to the property, how to reach, booked taxi from ferry, answered all the questions. Great great service ! It is a brand new place, decoration is very nice and villa is very comfortable. It was super clean. Pool is a plus after you come from beach or you want to rest for few hours. Outdoor area is very spacious and very nice setup. We had everything we needed ! Thank you !

We were very happy from the moment we checked in, Manos was very helpful and was available at any time to answer our questions or help us to make the most of our time in Kefalonia. The view and standard of decor made our time when we weren’t out exploring very relaxing, the villa was cleaned too to bottom every day. We enjoyed walking into town in the evening for dinner, drinks or ice cream in the square. the location was also perfect for exploring the many lovely beaches on the peninsula.

Fabulous villa with everything you need for a family holiday. Great pool and amazing views and the location was perfect. Manos was a wonderful host and his staff so friendly and helpful, always someone available for advice on everything from booking taxis, recommending trips and even arranging food on our first evening when we arrived late. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Manos was very helpful and welcoming on arrival. the place was spotless clean and the pool was perfect. it was. super hot day and the AC kept us cool.

The apartments are in a wonderful location, peaceful with views over the sea to the main island and a short walk into town. Our apartment was really well equipped, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The whole complex is spotlessly clean, and the daily cleaning service in the apartment a bonus. Manos is a delightful host: great communication before the stay and very happy to help with local information and advice.

We took a chance on Ionian Village as although there were few reviews at the time, they were all so positive and the photos made the place look idyllic. luckily, it did not disappoint! Ionian Village is situated just outside of the local village with some great places to eat (a 5-10 minute walk), we decided to get a Taxi from the airport but it is pretty close to the port if you decide to get the ferry across. First of all, the host Manos was an exceptional host, easy to contact running up to our arrival and was always contactable when we needed him during our stay, he made some great recommendations of local restaurants as well as points of interest. He even took care of organising a Taxi or two during our stay with someone he knew personally which was a bonus. The village itself is small but exceptionally well kept, from the grounds leading up to the apartments to the bool area and outdoor shower was beautiful. Our apartment followed the same theme, it has a very modern feel with all the amenities you would need. The living room was comfortable with a modern TV for late evening viewings. The kitchen had a full-sized fridge/freezer, a two stove hob, a fancy coffee machine (coffee pods) and best of all a tucked away washing machine, EASY! The beds were comfy and the AC worked well in all the rooms, what we really liked was the fact all the windows and sliding doors to the outside all had a bug net which was a nice touch. The terrace had a full-sized table which had a lovely view over the pool and to the sea, which resulted in us choosing to have lunches in to make the most of it. During our stay we never found the pool to get very busy but if the other apartments were all full and perhaps had children then I could perhaps see it getting slightly crowded. For us, we found Ionian Village to be quiet and relaxing with other guests at the time also being adults and couples.

This is really nitpicking but the place does have a confident ginger cat who regularly joined us for lunch. My girlfriend and I are not bothered by cats but he had no problem trying to jump up on our table to grab a slice of ham now and again! The only other thing for our apartment was the AC in the bedroom did seem to ramp up once or twice during our stay in the night which woke us up.

It was the perfect Holiday! Manos is so kind and welcomed us on our honeymoon with a sweet surprise! everything was better than expected, the bed was super comfortable, the pool was amazing and everything was super clean. We didn't miss a thing, everyone around was so nice. Ig was the perfect place to relax and calm down. A few minutes to walk is a sweet village with lots of restaurants. We will definitely come back to Ionian Village!

We had an amazing stay at Ionian Village - the villa was beautifully decorated, the blackout blinds were amazing and the bed was super comfortable. The location is great, an easy walk into Lixouri and you can take the ferry by car/foot to Argostoli very easily. The view from the pool & terrace is amazing too!

Location is beautiful, paceful and quiet, our apartment was very clean and Manos is a lovely host. We had the possibility to check in earlier and we found a bottle of wine, some fruits and water. The bed is super comfortable and even if we didn't use it the kitchen is fully equipated.

Ionian Village is a little piece of paradise. We stayed in a villa with a private pool which gave us access to fantastic outside space including a large dining table, sun loungers and BBQ. And the views were FANTASTIC making it a lovely place to relax. Inside the rooms were spacious and stylish with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Manos was a brilliant host - very responsive to questions and provided some great insight into the best places to visit in the area. We had such a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others to stay here.

Beautifully presented apartments in an amazing location above the sea, 10 minute walk into town with lots of nice dining. Manos was great, he did everything to ensure we were comfortable, definitely would stay again. Lots of little extra touches too that made this place a cut above the rest.

The villa was very comfy, clean and spacious. The shared swimming pool is great and it's got plenty of umbrellas and chairs. It's quiet and close to the city centre - 4 mins by car and 10 min walk. There's cleaning and change of towels/bed sheets every 3-4 days. Staff is great, very warm and welcoming.

Everything. Very nice and clean place with friendly and helpful staff, especially Manos and cleaning lady. We recommend to everyone who wants to have great vacations. Nice surprice: welcome basket with fruits and wine, olive was waiting for us at the villa when we came. Additionally Manos arranged convenient transfer from airport. Our kinds loved the swimming pool. Villa is well located few minutes walk from the city centre in quiet and safe place. Beautifull sea view is also an advantage of the place. Grill is also available with very good equipped kitchen.

Everything was just perfect! Tasteful and clean interio, beautiful garden and pool area. Well equipped kitchen with big fridge, oven, sandwich maker, toaster, Nespresso machine etc etc. Nice sea and island view and short distance walk to Lixouri for restaurants and night life. The manager and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Welcome basket of fruit, bottle of local wine, cold water and olive oil. So nice!

Can’t think of anything missing, except maybe a shower at the pool. But this is in no way a reason for a lower rating. Never had a “10” before…
