Fantastic room, We had room 7, The bridal suite and what a beautiful room, Lovely open space, great size bath room, Great size room. comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and polite

Youngsters smoking drugs at the front of the property
Then staff accused me of having weed when I first arrived with my family so disgusting and disrespectful
First and last time of staying in this hotel what an experience also got told when I arrived that the shower was broke in my room

Good location beds comfortable
There is no reception in the hotel took ages to find someone for check up n woman was nice but not looking like someone is running the place when we came back in the evening to have a drink the woman was in the bar with her granddaughter when we asked for the drink she put her in the buggy and put on cartoons for her very funny setup

Pokoj i łazienka bardzo mała , wykładziny bardzo brudne w pokoju jak i na korytarzu a w łazience mata prysznicowa pofarbowana od srodkow sprzatajacych , pracownica ubrana nie schludnie chodziła bez butow w brudnych skarpetkach i spodniach . Kolejnym minusem to brak parkingu gdzie bylismy zmuszeni wynajac miejsce parkingowe z sasiedniego hotelu . Po spedzeniu jednej nocy zdecydowalismy wracac do domu pomimo straty pieniedzy za kolejna noc . Zdecydowanie odradzam !

We had a lovely stay at the OYO Pier Head Hotel in Clacton-On-Sea. Becky the Manager made us very welcome, the hotel was clean had a lovely atmosphere and breakfast was good. We would stay there again.

Very clean, very comfortable, friendly staff.
Very family friendly atmosphere but also quite enough to use for a business trip. There were quite a few small children including babies when we were there but you wouldn't have known it, never heard a peep. Everyone including guests seemed really chilled, which was probably down to the fact the hotel was so comfortable.
You are right in the heart of a busy seaside town, so expect some outside noise from the nearby pier/funfair and other nightlife... I personally wasn't bothered by this, but I know it isn't for everyone.

The property was absolutely beautiful inside and out
The only problem i had was the spotlights on the front of the building shined through the curtain during the night

The staff were friendly, obliging and dealt with all our enquiries and needs. We even got a upgrade to the room we originally booked. 😁 The room was beautiful and clean and above our expectations.

The lady who greeted everyone was lovely and worked extremely hard
No shampoo, iron or hairdryer - although these were provided when asked for.

The hotel was very clean throughout

Wasn't clear where to check In on arrival.
Bed was very uncomfortable. And had pet hair in it.
The Tv had no channels.
There was a fan of some kind outside which was very loud keeping me awake.
The fire door on the room had a big gap at the bottom.

the stained bed base, threadbare carpets, shabby decor and finish and even windows that were hard to open and felt as if they would fall out and the outside are was shabby.

the property was very clean and beautifully decorated
the room layout wasn’t very good, no where to hang your clothes
got to the hotel and has to ring them to let them know as there was no one around
no parking anywhere apart from a car park on the next street, if you drive a family size car you’ll be lucky to fit it in the bays! the cost was £12 for 24 hours.

Was only there one night the bed was so comfortable though
The price and the bit where people' smoked was at the front you had to walk past it to get to the door and was very smoky . plus I think they helped the homeless which didn't put me off but it might others

Clean, bright and well cared for. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was excellent value and well cooked by Becky.

Parking not as advertised
Room spotless ,but too much bleach, could not sit in the room during the day due to this.
Shower, was a dribble, no power at all.
But for the price was great value
